Third person's POV

Everyone in the throne hall stays quiet after seeing how angry the Queen got, but they are all glancing at the State Councillor, wanting him to say something as they know The Queen respects him the most. The State Councillor sighs deeply before stepping out, 'Your Majesty, I don't want to believe those rumours, but I put your safety as the most priority, and therefore I don't want to take any chances. Besides... eliminating the last member of Macedon royal family to prevent future headaches is not a wrong thing to do.' He tells the Queen.

Chaeyoung's hands are now shaking a little, the fear of losing the girl she loves is bigger than ever. But she knows this is the situation where she needs to stay calm and think, 'The whole Castlemaine powerful government is trying to get an innocent girl killed. What do you think we will be recorded down as in human history? Heroes or Cowards?' She asks them,

Silence took over the room after that statement, but Chaeyoung knows that on the inside, they still haven't let go of the killing idea. As strong minded as she is, the Queen decided to take an only option she has right now which is also a gamble step, 'This only happens because you all believe in that rumour. So if I can prove to you that Mina hasn't even started to learn archery, and that she doesn't know how to shoot properly, then the rumour that you heard is false. Therefore, after I prove that to you all, I don't ever want any of you to come to me with any rumours regarding Mina, and I want you all to never bring up the idea of killing that girl ever again.' Chaeyoung tells them, strong and firm with full of authority in her tone,

The government members continue their silence, wanting to see how the Queen will prove them wrong,

'I will take your silence as a yes.' She decided, 'Guards, bring Mina here. Do not tell her a word about the reason why I want her here.' She commands the guards,

Soon enough, Mina was brought straight into the throne hall, then she was made to kneel down in the middle of the big room. Mina looks around in alarm to see all the powerful Castlemaine government members are staring at her in such a cold and intimidating manner, she quickly looks up at the Queen for some safety reassurance because she's so scared right now, and she has no idea why she was brought here forcefully,

On the other hand, the Queen's heart hurts badly seeing the fear on Mina's face. Her hands are still tightly clenched, the anxiety inside of her is too much for a normal human being to handle, but being a Queen of a Kingdom, Chaeyoung keeps her face unaffected,

'Mina, can you see the bow and arrows in front of you, as well as the target behind you?' The Queen asks, she's trying hard to keep her voice firm,

Mina looks behind her to see a round target is set up on a stand, near the entrance of the throne hall, she turns back around, and she can see a bow with a bunch of arrows inside a bamboo tube which are placed on a table. Mina then looks back up at Chaeyoung with so many questions in her eyes, 'Yes, Your... Majesty, I...I can see...them.' She nervously answered,

'Good! Now listen carefully Mina. I gave you ten arrows and I want you to shoot them one by one at the target. If... none of the ten arrows make it anywhere near the bullseye, you...' The Queen clenches her jaw to hold in her own nervousness, she tries hard to finish her sentence, '...You will be sentenced to death.'

Mina's eyes widen, she couldn't believe what she just heard, especially it's what came from Chaeyoung's mouth, the one who has always been so sweet and gentle to her, 'Your... Your Majesty... why...?' This is so unexpected that she can't complete her question properly,
