Chapter 53

Third person's POV

Riding horses on the way back to Castlemaine from Macedon, anywhere they went past, The Queen and her army were being welcomed with loud cheers and victorious celebrations. People knelt down on both sides of the road, bowing to their Queen with full respect,

'Long live our great Queen! Long live our great Queen! Victory! Victory! Victory!'

A few days later, they finally reached Castlemaine, and right away, they can see the streets are fully decorated with beautiful lanterns and victory flags together with lots and lots of flowers. People are celebrating, dancing, singing... it is the most peaceful and harmonious scene that has ever happened anywhere across all 4 kingdoms.

After taking time to wave back and acknowledge her happy people, the Queen, together with her Generals and Commanders enter the palace's gate. At the big palace ground right outside the throne hall, State Councillors, the head of government members, as well as Consort Tzuyu, the head of the palace are already there waiting,

Chaeyoung and her crew proceed to get off their horses. State Councillor then walks over with a big smile, 'Your Majesty, you have done Castlemaine proud. You have brought infinite victory to our Kingdom. Your King and Queen parents must be so proud of you.'

The Queen smiles at him, 'It's everyone's efforts. I'm just a part of that great organisation.' Chaeyoung humbly replies, then she steps over to Tzuyu,

The Noble Consort bowed her head, 'Your Majesty, Welcome home!'

The Queen gently holds onto her Consort's hands with both of her hands, 'Tzuyu, thank you for taking care of the palace. It must have been hard for you.'

'It's nothing compared to all the hardships you had to go through on battlefield, Your Majesty.' The Consort replies in a voice filled with care,

Chaeyoung proceeds to pull her Consort into a tight hug, 'I have missed you, Tzuyu.' She lovingly says,

Tzuyu's heart feels so warm hearing that, she hugs Chaeyoung even tighter, 'I have missed you more.'

They then all enter the throne hall together. Inside the throne hall, the government members are already kneeling down with their heads bowing deep to the ground. And as soon as the Queen sat down on her throne, they all shout out in unison, 'Congratulations on your greatest achievement, Your Majesty! Long live our great Queen!'

The Queen gestures for everyone to stand up while speaking, 'This victory is a great result of everyone's hard work, from every single soldier who fought with amazing bravery, to you all, my government members who took great care of Castlemaine while I'm away. I shall reward everyone accordingly after our big victorious celebration.'

'Thank you for your generosity, Your Majesty.' They all shout out in unison.

It's a tradition for every Kingdom to celebrate their victory by rewarding a big party for 3 days straight to the people who are involved. So our Queen also followed the tradition and allowed her people to relax and enjoy. The celebration happened right away, as the government members had it prepared as soon as they heard of the great news of victory from Macedon.

Chaeyoung, being a responsible Queen that she is, she stayed and made sure to have at least one round of drink with everyone. Then, she cleverly excused herself and left as soon as she got a chance, leaving everyone else to continue the party,

Our great Queen is heading straight to Consort Mina's palace because my God, her heart screams for Myoui Mina. She misses her wife so much, and there's no way she can stand not seeing the girl for another 3 days long of this party,
