Third person's POV

The Queen smiles warmly at Dahyun before looking straight ahead as an upright leader should be. She stays firm with her decision no matter how nervous it made she feels right now, 'Everyone deserves a fair go, Dahyun. When the feelings are overwhelming, you need to let it out, and that is exactly how JeongYeon feels right now, I totally understand her. Even being the Queen of this Kingdom, I still don't have the right to stop JeongYeon from confessing, and certainly I have no right to stop Mina from choosing who she loves.'

Dahyun nods her head at every word that Chaeyoung said, but at the same time, she makes sure to remind the Queen about a certain someone who is waiting for her mercy as well, 'Chaeyoung ah, it's true that when love is overwhelming, you need to let it out, and... that was the exact reason why Consort Sana did what she did. What she did was wrong, but it was all because of her love for you, so I think she deserves to be forgiven. Plus Consort Sana has been reflecting her actions deeply and has been waiting for you day and night, so Chaeyoung ah, give her a bit of the attention that you are giving Mina, only a bit but it will help to maintain the peace and harmony in the palace.' Dahyun gives Chaeyoung advice as a close friend would,

The Queen has been listening attentively while studying Dahyun's face at the same time, a Vice Chief of royal guards and a pure Consort don't seem to have any connection as far as she knows, 'Dahyun ah, you... seem to know Sana very well.' She says,

'Ahh... uhhh...' Dahyun is getting nervous, she didn't do anything wrong but having feelings for her friend's wedded wife is a wrong thing itself, 'I... I crossed path with Consort Sana a few times while patrolling around the palace.' She explains,

'I see.' Chaeyoung replies while still staring at her friend. As attentive as she is, she already can sense something,

'Alright let's go, I gotta hunt a wild boar to win this competition.' The Vice Chief quickly changed the topic, she rides faster, getting ahead of the Queen, avoiding any questions Chaeyoung might have,

'Yes, let's go!' The Queen says to herself while looking at Dahyun's back, her head is too full of worries about what is going to happen between JeongYeon and Mina, she doesn't have any space to think much about Consort Sana and Dahyun, and therefore she quickly buried it at the back of her mind and just focusing on the hunt for now.

Back at the camp site, not long after everyone left for hunting, Mina and 2 other maids set out to a flower field nearby to pick some flowers,  using for decorations in all the tents. While they are focusing on picking, the Vice Minister of war approaches them all by herself. She signals for the two maids to leave the place, so she can have some alone time with Mina,

'Wait! Where are you two going?' Mina asks, a little surprised at why the two maids suddenly left,

'I told them to leave.' JeongYeon speaks up,

'Oh, Vice Minister.' Mina bows her head a little upon seeing JeongYeon,

'Mina, didn't I tell you to just call me by my name?' JeongYeon doesn't like the formality between Mina and herself,

'Yes, JeongYeon.' Mina quickly changed the greeting,

The Vice Minister smiles on that, she is now standing right next to Mina, 'Mina, uhmmm... I... I'm sorry about the archery incident.' She started the conversation,

'It wasn't your fault, it was mine. I was really wanting to learn archery to be able to come in this hunting trip, so I did it by my own will.' Mina has never blamed JeongYeon for that incident,
