Third person's POV

The Queen smiles brightly eventhough her tears are still falling one by one, her heart jumps with happiness, her whole being is flying so high and doesn't seem to land back down anytime soon. She leans down and places another kiss on the top of Mina's hand before standing up and put into Mina's hair the most magnificent diamond hair pin as a symbol of their engagement. The hair pin which The Queen personally designed herself, is looking so elegant, classy yet cute and delicate, fitting perfectly with the Princess's gorgeous silky long black hair,

Chaeyoung smiles proudly at the girl she loves who looks absolutely breathtaking at this moment, the happy glow on Mina's face is the perfect reward for all of The Queen's efforts. The innocent Princess's beauty is so enchanting which made the fierce warrior can not take her eyes off her as if she is under a spell, a magical love spell.

Seeing the look on Chaeyoung's face right now, Mina just knows how much this fierce warrior is in love with her, she proceeds to rest her hands on The Queen's chest where she feels the safest, 'But Your Majesty, since when did you start all these? It must have taken a very long time to build this palace as well as the garden.'

Chaeyoung smiles warmly at Mina, 'I started it just after that incident... when you tried to escape the palace. I thought about it very carefully, you only tried to escape because you miss your home and probably because you don't like my palace. So, to be able to make you stay, I decided to build the exact same palace as your own in Macedon.'

'I love your beautiful palace, Your Majesty.' Mina quickly tells her, 'I only tried to escape because... because you were so unfair to me then. Like... like when I was in the washing quarter, those maids really did picked on me, but you... you listened to them and you... punished only me.' The Princess pouts her lips remembered how unfair she felt,

The Queen immediately  pulls the sulky girl in closer by the waist, 'Mina, do you really think I let those maids off the hook after they picked on my National Treasure? After I left the washing quarter, I punished them with 20 strokes of flogging each, even the head of the washing quarter didn't get away with it.' She explains,

'Oh, I remember hearing people talked about that, but I didn't think you did that for me.' Mina now realised how much Chaeyoung cared for her right from the beginning. But the spoiled Princess continues to pout her lips, 'How about when you punished me with flogging? You... you didn't care for me then.' She complained,

The Queen's hands which are on Mina's waist, start to caress it gently, 'Darling, you left me no choice, but believe me my heart hurt more than you did. My heart hurt so much that I didn't know I injured my palms with my nails while holding my hands into fists to hold myself together.'

'So that's why you had bandages on both of your hands.' Realisation struck her, Mina now knows the pain The Queen felt at that moment is twice as much as the pain she felt, physically and emotionally. The Princess gently has a hold of both of Chaeyoung's hands and takes a look at those palms, the scars are still there, not too deep but they are there. Mina lowered her head, wishing that she wasn't as stubborn and as disrespectful as how she was,

On the other hand, Chaeyoung's heart just aches remembering the moment she made the girl she loves went through such a harsh punishment, 'My Mina, I'm sorry. Are you... are you still upset about it?' She worriedly asks,

Mina looks up at The Queen, she shakes her head, 'No Your Majesty, I'm not upset about it. It hurt my pride at that moment, it did because after all, I was born a Princess but... but you punished me in front of everyone...' She tells Chaeyoung her honest thoughts, 'However, I'm thankful that it happened, because only after that incident, you started to show me your affection. Your love for me was starting to obviously shown and until now you spoil me so much more than I deserve.'
