Chapter 39

Third person's POV

'I want my parents to see their pretty daughter in law...' Chaeyoung answered while gently caressing Mina's cheek, 'I want my parents to see how happy I am now, and I want to tell them that they can rest in peace without having to worry about me anymore, because I have found the love of my life, and she's making my world a whole lot better than it's ever been.'

Mina's tears are now falling one by one, as she can literally feel the immense amount of love The Queen is giving her. The Consort's heart feels so at ease right now, as if an imaginary weight inside her heart has been released, because this ultimate decision from The Queen means that all the hatred, all the disputes, all the vengeance between the Sons and the Myouis are finally officially over.

It's the day of departing for Willow Palace. The Queen and her Pure Consort are sitting together in a carriage, escorted by Vice Chief of royal guards Dahyun, Vice Minister of war JeongYeon, a few Ministers as well as some Councillors. About 100 soldiers are followed right behind, guarding their Queen and the Consort's safety.

They left in the early morning, travelling normal pace and half a day later, they arrived at the Willow Palace just after midday.

Once they arrived in front of the palace, an Officer and his guards who have the responsibility of guarding the royal ancestors graves, are all kneeling down to greet the Queen and her Consort. Chaeyoung and Mina then got off the carriage and walked into the palace, followed by all of the members who came with them.

In a huge beautiful garden, at a highest ground covered by neatly trimmed green grass, there stand two royal graves, side by side. And that's where Chaeyoung is leading Mina to, with her hand is holding tightly onto her wife's hand,

The two kneel down in front of the graves, with that everyone else also kneels down. They all bow 3 times at the graves, showing their utmost respect,

'King Father, Queen Mother, this is Mina. My wedded wife.' The Queen introduced Mina to her parents with a soft smile on her face,

The Pure Consort immediately bows one more time, 'Please forgive me for not coming to visit sooner.'

Chaeyoung smiles proudly while continuing to say to her deceased parents, 'Isn't Mina beautiful and well mannered?' The Queen brings Mina's hand up and places a kiss on the top of her hand, 'Mother, Father, I want to tell you that I'm very happy right now with Mina right next to me, so please don't worry too much about me. You can rest in peace now.' Chaeyoung subtly lets her parents know that her vengeance is over,

Mina looks at Chaeyoung with eyes full of love, she then turns to bow at the graves one more time, 'I promise to always be by Her Majesty's side, and I will take care of her the best in anyway possible.'

The Queen gently caresses Mina's cheek, 'My Treasure, you are doing an amazing job of taking care of me.' Then she moves closer to Mina, whispering, 'My parents are absolutely pleased with their daughter in law.'

'How do you know that, Your Majesty?' Mina is whispering right back,

'I just do.' Chaeyoung shrugged her shoulders, 'I can sense it.' She even gave Mina a charming wink,

The beautiful Consort smiles brightly at that. She's so happy right now, her heart is so full with love, feeling so at ease because finally she is officially in The Sons family, after being introduced to The Queen's late King and Queen parents.

Right then, all of a sudden, about twenty figures in black clothings, with their faces are half covered with black masks, jumping down from the top of those trees nearby. It seems like they had been hidden there for awhile to wait for the perfect opportunity,
