Chapter 13 - A New Challenger Approaches

And we are back once again.

This time, we have a new surprise guest.

Taker watched Koneko leave, making absolutely sure she was gone.

"Any idea what happened to me back there Zold?" He asked his partner.

"I cannot say for certain. I have a thought though... May need to ask Lucifer about it." Zold told him.

"Right... Anyway."

Taker went to the door and walked in.
He went over to the sofa and sat down, leaning back and staring at the TV.

Everyone else was likely asleep by now, so he should have some time to himself to just relax and watch-

"Hello."

He looked to his left to see a girl sitting next to him.

"Hey....... What in the God damn?"

He did a double take to see there was indeed a woman beside him.

His interest was peaked immediately when too in how she looked.

White hair, red dress shirt, pants and finally the horns and tail.

"I have several questions." He said, confused why she was here.

"I'm sure you do, but first we should start with introductions." She sat up properly and made herself look professional. She offered a handshake. "Baphomet. I am often called the Mysterious Demon. With me is.... Oh where is she now?"

Taker was confused until he suddenly sensed something was about to tackle him. He turned around and stood up to see a much smaller girl run at him attempt to tackle him. Thankfully he caught her before she could knock him down.

He held this small girl, looking at her and then at Baphomet with a confused look.

"Uh. What?" He asked.

"Ah, there she is. This is Krampus."

"... Krampus?"

"Yes, now. Let me explain why we are here." Baphomet stood up, keeping the professional look yet she had a warm smile the whole time. "I recently caught wind of a number of demons, even Lucifer herself, meeting a human and joining a "Harem of Demon Girls." So, I came to see if that was true. Seems I was not mishearing things."

"Ok... So you just wanted to see if rumours are true?" He asked, still holding Krampus like she was his own kid. She seemed to have no issue with it.

Krampus looked and acted like a child. He still isn't sure how aging works for demons, but she's probably a child in Demon Years.

"Well, to put it simply, I was more than intrigued when I learned about you. The legendary Golden Dragon Emperor who tamed almost a dozen Demon Girls in about an hour. It's actually impressive. 10 Demons living under your roof and you're still breathing. Interesting." She said, giving him a curious look.

"9 actually. Azazel is an Angel." He corrected her, putting Krampus down.

"Right, that detail seems to be left out, no matter where you buy the information from." She said.

"You bought my information?" He asked.

"Oh of course. Anything can be done with money." Baphomet said. "Now, the reason I'm here isn't just for confirming rumours. I am actually here to... How would you say it? Claim a piece of the pie?"
