Why am I here again?

Astrea reluctantly walked towards the school's library. Most of the students headed home as the hallways became emptier by the minute after the last bell rang.

It was a fact that Astrea wanted to curse the universe for putting her in this position, but deep down she knew what she did in Berlin deserves a punishment from god. Regardless of the hatred, she still managed to attend a session at the dojo to train some martial arts.

As soon as she stepped foot in the library, all she saw besides the empty chairs and tables were just Kyouya, alone. He was reading yet another historical novel, this time named Genji Monogatari. A famous japanese literature written by Murasaki Shikibu in the early 11th century during the Heian period.

Astrea noticed the book he was holding despite the fact that he was only pretending to be busy.

'Finally you're here, princess Astreanova.' Kyouya smirked, closing the book.

'Stop it, this is neither the host club nor I am a princess.' She took a seat across him and placed her bag on a table.

'I assume it took you some time to arrive due to a practice at the dojo? I knew I should drop by to see you there.' He taunted.

'I'd rather not see you there.'

'Why? Afraid of me catching the sweat from your body? How thoughtful of you, princess.' Kyouya stood up and walked towards her.

They were suddenly staring deep into each other's eyes, as he closed the distance between the two.

'I told you not to call me that.'

'Nobody's watching. And you are a princess, the sole heir of the prestigious Antares company. Don't be in denial.' Kyouya's deep voice turned slightly bitter at the end.

Astrea crossed her arms and smirked.

'Does all of this have to do with you being the third son of the Ootori family? Should've told me in the beginning, Kyouya.' Her tone changed with the change of his name.

Kyouya moved away from her face; did a little shrug and crossed his arms.

'This conversation is not about me. But who knows? Frankly, I have one year left to prove my worth and it's not easy to compete.' He admitted.

'Same with me then. One year left before the final showdown.'

'Does it have to do with all the martial arts you've been training? It must be.' He raised an eyebrow.

'Yeah. It's a standard tradition in an Antares family regardless of gender. Which is why I do not prefer the term princess.' Astrea glared at him.

'I see... so that's how it is.' Kyouya looked at her with other intentions. He was wondering about a lot of the prestigious Antares family secrets, and he knew if he kept acting casual with Astrea in class, he can never get an insider's scoop of the mysterious family.

'If you think I would reveal even more about the showdown, forget it, Kyouya. We're miles apart in this competition. Whether you'll lose or win, I would still have to fight due to family tradition.'

'I can't let my brothers inherit the company instead of me.' Kyouya spoke of himself all of a sudden. It was Astrea's turn to raise an eyebrow towards the pale and dark haired japanese young man.

'I have this condition called OCD, a mild one as of now. I can't let things go without me controlling it from every nook and cranny. Everytime I wake up, I would check the switch and lock the door ten times before I leave the room.'
