'Kyouya, I have something to tell you about the Antares company.'

It was the phone call from his father that triggered him on that day. His father was in Seoul, Korea for an outstation meeting. Kyouya stopped his constant scribbles of nothingness in his scrapbook to calm his ocd down.

'Yes, father?'

'It seems that they are taunting us, possibly buying our shares and taking over our company. I don't want to elaborate futher, but I think you know what I'm trying to tell you.'

'Plot your own revenge, Kyouya. Just like you did last year in the school festival.'

His father's voice seem to rang loudly in his ears. Despite the trigger, Kyouya smirked. Nothing can stop him from doing what he wants.

'Of course, father. If it's to obliterate the enemy. It should be done at all costs, right?'

'Indeed. Report me the results while the deed is done.'

His father hung up the phone. Kyouya dropped his phone on the table and started laughing maniacally to himself, as he hung his head down and rested it on the study desk.

Just when I wanted to patch things up with her.

No matter what, Kyouya knew what he had to do. Study the stock market the whole night and sleep at 4 am. He will only have 3 hours of sleep before getting ready to school. Fortunately just for another 3 months of attending classes before the final exam season.

He had to investigate the reason why the Antares company is about to buy a medical company stationed in Japan, what more than to confront the possible heiress of the company herself? Better yet at her place. The uncharted territory that made her untouchable from the rest.

But he would rather avoid news or gossip outlets to start writing about him if he started going to her place. Kyouya decided to confront her the next day in school after the last bell rang. And he did eventually.

'Astrea, we need to talk. I'll see you at the library after your training ends.' He spoke sternly beside her since their desks were close.

Astrea raised an eyebrow before reluctantly agreeing to the invitation. After all, they are still enemies with benefits.

'Sure thing. See ya later.'

'So, what brings you here today? I doubt it's for studying since it's a Friday.' Astrea spoke after placing her gym bag on the table. The library was extra quiet that evening, now that everyone went straight back home for the weekend.

'Have you heard of the Antares company possibly buying shares from the Ootori company and taking over?' Kyouya didn't have the mood to beat around the bush, since he only had 3 hours of sleep and his eyebags were visible.

'Hmm. That's a tough question. I believe your father told you firsthand yesterday.'

'Answer my question and we'll be done, both of us can go home fast.'

'Yes, there is a plan. But I must say it's not solid yet about the takeover. Possibly buying a few shares and that's it.' Astrea sighed.

'If the merging happens, do you know that we'll be seeing each other even more?' Kyouya questioned solemnly, solely to test her.

'Oh... that's actually true.' Astrea sounded disappointed.

'This is where we start operating as enemies with benefits. You make sure there is no merging or takeover, while I'll make sure I'll be the heir of the Ootori company.' He stroke a deal, smirking a little bit in front of her.

The foreign classmate with the long hair and golden eyes seemed to scan the library while she thought of a viable solution.

'The proposition sounds doable. But in my own terms, I would buy any other companies who try to merge with yours. In return, you, Kyouya.' Astrea stared deeply into his captivating grey eyes.

'You will need to stop with that attitude. I want to see you be a changed man right after graduation.' She continued.

It was his turn to raise en eyebrow. Somehow having her face close to him reminded him of Berlin. His foul mood somehow dampened due to the faint smell of her lavender perfume.

'May I inquire as to why do you have such a request?' Kyouya questioned, crossing his arms.

'I had a dream last night. Something happened that made you snap and go completely mad. It could be the ocd or something else. Nobody knew why... not even the host club. The darkness within would only grew larger if you ignore it.'

'Such an imaginative dream you have there. But rest assured the doctors are there in the Ootori hospital that could check up on my condition.' He continued.

'They don't understand you though. Take it as is, I might be the kind of enemy who actually cares about the opponent's well being. It's in my nature to do so.' Astrea sighed and grabbed her gym bag.

'One thing about being human is that we want to love and be loved. To be understood, should come together with it. Do you want to be understood, Kyouya?'

No, I don't.

I could just keep them at an arm's length.

The noises in his head turned quiet as soon as she asked the question. Being defensive isn't going to do his mental condition any good. He looked at her solemnly and sighed.

'I get what you mean. But you must go on a date with me to settle both company ordeals. And it's also for me to patch things up with you since Berlin.' Kyouya pulled the last card in his deck, the one he had kept in secret which was to invite her to a date.

'Wait, are you serious?'

'Absolutely.' His sharp gaze penetrated her wide eyes. Astrea knew she had to go down with the plan, at least for the betterment of both sides.

Safe to say, they went on a date on a fine pleasant day after. To him, this date is his last resort to amend things. While to her, this might be the last memory of date she has before high school finishes.
