It took Viren a little while to bring the items to me, but oh well. I took the fabric and the needle. I started stitching. I know he'll do it. He started copying my exact movement. I show him the rune.

"I've never seen a rune like this before." Viren said.

I draw the rune out with my hand. It was a purple fire. It turned into a ball of fire that I threw to the looking glass. The fire ceased and Viren's rune glowed golden. The rock flew into the fabric, and I clutched my fist. The rock broke into two halves that I caught. He followed me. I grounded the half up into dust and I poured it into a glass of water. Blue smoke rose out of the glass. I did a cheering motion.

"You expect me to drink this?" Viren asked.

Yes. I drank it quickly. Eventually, Viren did it too. This next part would be hard. I knew it would be difficult. But if he wants to know, he has too. I take the knife. I hover it above my hand. I think he knows what I require. Viren lifts the sword up.  He hesitates. He looks at me.

"Why should I trust you? I don't know anything about you, what or who, you are." Viren said.

If you want to learn, I urge you to do what I'm doing. Please. I need someone to hear my voice.

"I need time to think." Viren said placing the sword down.

He walks out the room. I suggest he thinks fast, the time is soon nearing.
