Sitting up on my bed I sighed. It's 5:00 a.m. How is it that I woke up early? I never wake up early... Getting up I decided I should probably get something to eat.

I walked quietly through the corridor, unlike the last time I woke up around this time. I made my way to the mess hall then tiptoed my way into the kitchen. Looking around at all the food I sighed, nothing seems appetizing. So I just settled on a peach.

I don't want to train today... My body aches, and all my wounds haven't healed up yet. Plus, I have to deal with Captain Grumpy Pants. The tiny stone cold monster. Of course I have no room to speak, me being the size of a child an all, but still... He just needs to lighten up and stop being a hardass all the time. "Idiot..." I mumble.

"Tch"

"Speaking of the devil" I sigh turning to face Levi who was standing in the doorway of the kitchen. "Why are you up?" he asked, voice raspy, hair messy, and eyes droopy. "Why are you up? You look like shit." I teased and he tched again. "I'm up because I woke up from a bad dream and needed water." he said in his normal heartless voice walking passed me to get a cup and fill it with water.

"What was it about?" I asked and he froze, his face scrunched as if remembering it was painful. "Levi?" "It's nothing, it's just a dream. Come on." He grabbed my wrist and started yanking me towards his office. "You know all you need to do is to ask me to come with you and I will." I sighed giggling at the way hes still so pushy.

"Why ask when I can do this" In one swift moment I was being carried bridal style. I shrieked and he only chuckled. "No warnings!" I whisper yelled at him and he shrugged. He smiled down at me and I could only smile back, it's a rare sight to see him smile, and when he does it's like everything in me melts.

"I knew it!" Someone exclaimed from behind us and Levi froze in his tracks. Quickly turning around to see Hanji with the most insane look on her face. I only laughed and Levi glared at her. "What do you want shitty glasses?" he asked, back to his cold expression, but he's not putting me down. "I knew you had feelings for Asami!" she exclaimed clasping her hands together as she stared in awe.

"Yeah? So what?" he said bluntly and I could feel my cheeks heat up. "So under your cold little exterior you actually have feelings!" Hanji whisper yelled happily and Levi rolled his eyes. "If you don't mind I'm going to continue what I was doing. Go away shitty glasses, oh and don't tell anyone, they'd only annoy me and Asami with questions."

Turning he started walking to his office and I poked his cheek. "What?" he asked letting his face relax a little. "Lighten up grumpy pants." I teased and he only rolled his eyes. "You're so stubborn" I said exasperatedly. "And you're not?" He raised an eyebrow as he opened the door to his office. "Yes I am but I know how to relax." I said sticking my tongue out at him.

"Tch"

"Tch"

"Are you mocking me?"

"Why yes I am Captain Grumpy Pants"

Levi put me down on the navy blue couch only to pin me down on it. His hands held my hands above my head, his knees straddled me down to the couch, preventing me from moving. "Grumpy pants huh?" he said in a taunting tone. "Yup" I said nonchalantly as a smirk played on my lips. "I think you should get punished for disrespecting your superior" he had this playful glint in his eyes and I loved it.

"Should I?" I said lifting my face just close enough for our lips to brush against each other. His breath quickened as I quickly took advantage of the situation. Closing the gap between our lips, he let my hands go to hold my face. I smiled at the sweet gesture as I swiftly pinned him against the couch the exact way he did to me.
