Chapter Three

{Asami's POV}

I laid my head down on Levi's lap and stared up at him. He looked down at me and poked my cheek. I smiled and he his lips slightly curved but it quickly went away. "what is it?" he asked in a softer voice than usual. "I don't know" I laughed. "Is it that you have a month before you leave?" he asked.

Why is it that he always knows what I'm feeling or thinking about. "I- Yeah... I'm trying to figure out some things before I go." I admitted. "Like what?" he asked still looking down at me. I locked my green eyes with his. My heart beat started to pick up...

"Oh you know how I'm going to say goodbye and how I'm going to take it." I sighed. That was half true, I want to figure out my feelings for him but I don't know exactly how to do that... "Are you sure that's it?" I giggled at his sudden concern. I poked his cheek and gave him a reassuring smile. "Positive. Now come on let's go on a walk or do something" I suggested and he smirked.

"So let's go meet your mom" he suggested and I froze. "yeah a walk sounds good" I said and got up. I extended my hand out towards him and he took it. Seconds later I was picked up. "what are you doing?!" I shouted at him. "shut up. Let's go I want to meet your mom" "you're so stubborn" I rolled my eyes. "tch"

He opened my front door with one hand and I began laughing. "Asami? Is that you honey?" my mom called out. "yeah" I yelled. My mom then walked in the room. She stood there staring at me and Levi before she spoke. "Awh! is this your boyfriend" she teased running up to me and pinched my cheeks.

"Levi, please put me down" I demanded nicely. He followed my order but I could tell he was holding back his laugh. I brushed myself off then looked at my mom.

"Mom this is Levi. Levi this is my mom. No mother he is not my boyfriend" I introduced them and my mom grabbed Levi's hand. "It's nice to meet you young man. I'll go make us some lunch" she said and walked away.

The second she was out of sight I face palmed myself. "your mom is nice" he teased. "shut up before I rip your tongue out" I glared. "I've never seen you so aggressive" he laughed at me. "She's so embarrassing" I cried.

He just chuckled at me as we sat down on my couch. "boyfriend huh?" his voice was lighter than usual. "are you in a good mood?" I asked him in a taunting voice. "shut up. I thought I should join your mom in teasing you" he stated.

"Oh Levi you're hopeless" I shook my head at him. "tch" he clicked his tongue. "tch" I mimicked him. "are you mocking me?" he narrowed his eyes. "what? me mock you? you must be mistaken sir" I placed my hand on my chest and made an offended face.

"Oh no of course not. I'm sorry mam" I laughed at him and he began laughing with me. "So Asmai. How much boyfriends have you had?" he asked. "none" I shrugged. "That's odd. I was certain you had one before" I can't tell if he's joking.

"even if I did who would I date?" I questioned him. "oh you know the guy who asked you out on a date a few weeks ago, what was his name again? oh yeah blake right?" he smirked. "is someone jealous?" I raise an eyebrow returning the smirk.

"you wish" he retorted. "that wasn't an exact answer now was it?" I teased. His eyes were locked on mine as my smirk remained. "you guys are so cute~" my mom sang from behind us. My eye began to twitch. "mom" I cried out of embarrassment.

We moved to the dining table and my mom was the one to break the silence. "Asami talks about you a lot. I can tell she really cares about you" my mom told levi and I completely stopped chewing. I looked at levi who was already looking at me. "Really? I had no idea." levi said and glanced at me.

"Oh yeah she says-" I cut her off. "next subject" I said taking a bite out of my sandwhich. "How did you and Asami meet?" my mom asked. Oh great I was waiting for this question to pop up. "well I caught her from falling into a puddle of mud. Then later on she was locked out of your house so I let her stay over. I let her stay the night then I helped her get back into your house the next morning" levi explained. "well aren't you nice. You're also kinda short huh? but my daughter really isn't all that tall either" I planted my face in my hand.
