Y/N's PoV

I sighed with relief as I pushed the food cart out of Syndra's room.

Y/N: Phew, that was close.

I looked over my shoulder to see Syndra happily gorging herself with the bowl of tuber soup I gave her like a starved skylynx before closing the door and sighing with relief.

Y/N: Crisis averted.

Ao Shin: You good, Y/N?

I turned to my left and saw Ao Shin floating beside me before nodding.

Y/N: Yeah. I barely averted a catastrophe just now.

Ao Shin: Let me guess, hangry Syndra?

I nodded.

Y/N: Hangry Syndra.

Ao Shin: Well, that's a relief. Remember the first time she went into her hangry state?

I groaned as the memory of Syndra destroying my previous home, the north campus's servants' barracks, flashed through my mind.

Y/N: Please, don't remind me.

Ao Shin chuckled before grabbing a bowl off of the cart.

Ao Shin: Anyway, I'm gonna take this to Lux now.

Before I could say anything, Ao Shin had already zipped back to Lux's door and disappeared into her room.

I should get back to handing out dinner, too.

And with that, I pushed the cart over to the next door to my right since it was the closest occupied room to Syndra's room.

Y/N: Alright, let's see if you're awake, Janna.

Upon arriving at her door, I knocked on it. I didn't have to wait long to hear a response.

???: Come in.

Oh, looks like she's awake. That's good. Looks like I can do some catching up with her.

Without wasting another second, I opened the door before peeking my head in. Upon poking my head through the door, I saw the purple-haired Star Guardian looking at me with a surprised look as she sat on her bed with the holopad I had left for her earlier in her hands.

Y/N: Hey, Janna. May I come in?

Janna blinked a couple of times before she snapped herself out of her daze.

Janna: Y/N?

I nodded.

Y/N: Yep, it's been a while.

She nodded as she cleared her throat and regained her usual reserved composure, though, from the twinkle in her eyes, I could tell she was happy to see me.

Janna: It has. About ten and a half centuries.

Y/N: That long?

She nodded her head as she motioned me to enter.

Man, I guess time does go by quickly when you're busy living the hermit lifestyle.

As I pulled the cart into her room, I decided to make some small talk with her.

Y/N: So, how are you feeling?

Janna: I'm okay... I guess. Just feeling a bit sore and dizzy, that's all.

Y/N: Yeah, I wouldn't be too surprised given the giant-ass crater Syndra made in the middle of the jungle three days ago. Honestly, I'm surprised you and your friends even managed to survive that explosion.
