Well, let's just say that SkyWind was completely unprepared for what just happened. It was a completely normal racing day and suddenly. . .

"ShineSwift!" She dove towards the ocean where her friend just disappeared. "Amoura! StarFire! DarkHalo!"

SkyWind shot into the ocean. But ShineSwift was nowhere to be found. She felt the ocean water explode as her brother dove in. After DarkHalo surveyed the ocean floor, he shook his head at her.

ShineSwift was missing.

. . .

StarFire was curling up against her and was snoring. He was her brother, so it should have made her feel better. SkyWind, however, was not in the mood for such relaxing. Half of her mind was calling her outside for some high speed winds. She was the fastest in the group, twice as speedy and agil than FlameClaw. The other half was telling her to go look for ShineSwift one more time.

Well then, I'll do neither.

She crept out of her cave door, following the scent of the stream that flowed by the cave. She passed the feeding room, where a pile of unripe fruits stood. She peeked into the cave where AngelWing, Magma, and Amoura slept. The stars were glowing like little eyes, watching all that is below them. The lake was a calm surface, shifting in calm, eternal waves in its endless sleep, completely unaware of the evil.

Where are you, little ShineSwift?

Stomp, Stomp. . .

SkyWind quickly dove for cover behind a rock big enough to conceal her as the sounds of two dragons walked by.

"Why are we here anyway?"

"Well, because Shadowine ordered us to, of course."

"LyskLight is not here, you know."

LyskLight? Isn't that LyskSight?

"Well, her descendant is near, though. . "

"Makes sense. Besides, that mouse of a dragon somehow ended up with shadows in her veins. She will probably let us off, considering how sneaky she is."

Shadows. . . hold up.

"Are you kidding me? That dragonet of light is also the heir to the throne of shadows?!"

"Well, how am I supposed to know?"

Suddenly, they turned to face a surprised looking blue dragon. For one moment, they stared. The second. . .

Blue light clashed with black.

Dark claws grappled at SkyWind.

Shadow claws.

Roars.

. . .

"Hey are you awake yet?"

SkyWind felt that her wings and legs could just fall off and be done. The unfamiliar dragon nudged her with her tail. A sharp pain roared through her body. "Ow!" SkyWind roared. She shot up and finally opened her sand yellow eyes to see a very serpentine dragon staring at her with glowing turquoise eyes. Her head was traced with long feather blades tracing down her neck that was glowing with the same color as her eyes. Another row of dark blue feathers dotted her long head all the way to her claws. Her long orange body was decorated with glowing cyan poison. The tail was poison tipped, with a rattler that continually whispers indistinguishable words of prophecy.

SkyWind eyed that new dragon warily. Suddenly she launched herself at her. However, that orange dragon dodged nimbly to one side, and swiped SkyWind off her feet with a phantom claw. That claw was glowing with energy, energy that was only thought that had existed in legends, energy that was only concealed behind the gate of history. SkyWind pushed herself up, her feet stinging from the hit. She felt tired and drained, but one thought brought her energy and consciousness back.

Primals

SkyWind's eyes went wide. So they are real.

"Did I introduce myself yet? My name's PoisenStream, a primal. What's. . . nevermind. Your name's SkyWind, right? Looking for a dragonet called ShineSwift?"

SkyWind was stunned. How did she read my mind?

"You didn't know? All primals have the power to read minds." PoisonStream flicked her tail calmly. The words rattling from it paused for a moment, then resumed its endless opera

"How did I get here?"

"Well, let's just say some very annoying dragons made a huge racket over you, and CoralCharge managed to get you out of that mess."

SkyWind scrambled up and looked around, but there was no exit. "I need to get out of here!"

"You need to rest!"

"Why?" SkyWind finally noticed the shadow wound on her leg and wings. Moons, no wonder she was so clumsy and slow. "Fine. At least tell me how long it has been."

"One day."

SkyWind suddenly felt the world fall forward, with darkness closing in. It faded away into a foreboding scene.

ShineSwift was in the sea, surrounded by flames. She wasn't afraid or whatever. Beyond her, A dragon with flames stared at her with curiosity. The ancient that argued with the ruler of flames. The ancient whose world was torn apart by flame and downpour. ShineSwift was blindly making her way towards the dragon, with long blue flames licking her pale scales like butterflies. The watery bridge was made out of flames. Suddenly it collapsed, and ShineSwift fell. The unfamiliar dragon leapt after her, and tried to catch her claw, but she slipped through.

The dragon looked down with an unfamiliar sadness. Suddenly, the bridge was rebuilt, and ShineSwift was gone. Suddenly, SkyWind was jerked out of the vision. With PoisenStream and another dragon staring at her with a weird look that SkyWind had never seen. "Well, I think I know where your friend is, alright."

"Where?"

The coral colored dragon beckoned her. That must be CoralCharge. Well, that name fits him. He slipped out the rocky walls. SkyWind swiftly followed him, even though the wounds were still aching.

"Your friend, ShineSwift. . ." CoralCharge whispered. . .

"Is within the gates of the storms of fire."

. . .

Really quick note here. If certain things are a little mysterious to you, just note that maybe I'll make like. . . I don't know, a little introduction book? If I get enough replies of "Wha about this Primal " or something like that, I'll probably do it.
