POV Marinette:

Luka and I finished our night shift and we decided to stay in the hospital and have our breakfast in the cafeteria Luka had something to do so he asked me to wait for him in the cafeteria till he come

I went there and had a seat waiting for Luka but I didn't expect to find Adrien holding a tray with his breakfast

Adrien: can I?

Marinette: yeah doctor

He took a seat and placed his tray on the table I'm not that fan of this doctor and I really don't want to stay with him so I just stand up and got my purse

Marinette: I'm sorry doctor, I should go, have a nice day

He just smiled and I left. I forgot about Luka and forgot to inform him that I left. He just went to the cafeteria two minutes after me

Luka: good morning doctor, did you see Marinette, please?

Adrien: she just left

Luka: strange, we planned to have breakfast together. That's fine, have a nice day doctor

The next day, we were in our last night shift. I was with one of my patients, getting ready to inject her, we were chatting and smiling, I treat all my patients kindly. Her name is Alix

Marinette (while smiling widely): so why you asked me to give you this medicine and you didn't let the nurse

Alix: because it hurt

Marinette (while giggling): it hurt because the medicine but the nurse has nothing to do with it

Alix: so why I don't feel it with you? you are kind and gentle when you inject me, not like the nurse

Marinette: ok my dear, ill always give you this medicine myself

I was about to give her the syringe and I felt Adrien behind me. I couldn't even smile and tuned to be cold

Alix: when I will leave? I'm tired from hospital

Marinette: when your doctor come, ask him. I will leave

I left to my and Luka's office to rest but Luka just informed me that Adrien needs me in his office

I went to his office and I knocked

Adrien: yes, get in

I walked inside, my hands in my blouse's pocket looking to Adrien sitting in his chair

Adrien: you have chosen to be doctor or someone else asked you to be?

Marinette: I love this job and It's me who choose to be a doctor

Adrien: but how you treat the patients isn't good, you should be kind and you should hear them, you should smile whenever you are with them. You didn't know that taking care of patients, smile when you talk with them, come before the medicine? You didn't study this in your university?

I was dumbfounded, I didn't know what to say, I just gulped and tried to answer

Marinette: w-why? Did any of my patients complained about me?

Adrien: I see how you treat your patients. If someone obliged you to be a doctor, I tell you from now, don't continue, because you won't succeed. I didn't ask you to be a clown with you patients, just smile in their faces and not make that face of every day. After all, this is the last night together, but this is an advice for days coming and I wish that you will never forget what I said. You can dismiss now
