Tales of hearts (part 3) - Adrienette

POV Adrien:

It has been three months since Marinette and Luka work in the hospital, they are doing great, and I'm really proud of them

I was bored in my office, I don't have work, so I went to Luka and Marinette's office. I knocked and Marinette asked me to come in

Marinette: hello doctor

Adrien: hi, would you like to join me for a coffee in the cafeteria? We can take 10 minutes rest?

Marinette: you want that we wait for Luka?

Adrien: as you wish, I'm going there after all

I said as I closed the door and went to the cafeteria alone then I went back to my office again without waiting anyone.

I wanted to check on both of them, but I found Marinette and Luka, leaning on the chair like they were on a longue chair getting a tan

Marinette: you know if we keep studying like this, we will finish at least two more chapters

I opened the door and surprised both of them. they both keeps staring at me as I was glaring at both and talked with a sever tone

Adrien: you are both resting and leaving the department empty? I thought you finish your shift at 2pm and not at 11am

Luka: we come here just 5 minutes ago to rest

Adrien: at least when you want to rest, don't rest in the same time, now go check what work you have

I slammed the door and I left both of them in the office and went back to mine

Luka: is it the first time that we rest, and he just commented on that today?

Marinette: those days he isn't satisfied with anything and don't like anything, just yelling and he is on his nerves. Let's go check our work

It was 7am of the next day, I just come from home, I have a surgery to lead, so I was drinking a coffee in the hospital cafeteria before Luka joined me

Luka: good morning doctor Agreste

Adrien: good morning, Luka, so everything is good?

Luka: yes doctor, thank you for leading us

Adrien: where is Marinette?

Luka: she left earlier than me, she was really tired

Adrien: I understand. How are you doing both of you in your medical residency?

Luka: Marinette and I are doing our best, but it's kinda hard. If you don't mind asking doctor, you had your medical residency?

Adrien: yes, two years after graduation

Luka: is it hard?

Adrien: kinda hard but not impossible. If you need any help, I'm here for you. so, Luka, when we will assist to your wedding with Marinette? Everyone in the hospital is talking about that

Luka (while chuckling): oh my god, not you also doctor asking this question

Adrien: we want happiness for you both so we are asking

Luka: but Marinette and me are just friends, doctor, and no one of us think to be in a relationship

Adrien: wait, you mean that you aren't both dating?

Luka: we didn't even think about that. We are maybe more than friends, like a brother and sister

Adrien: I understand
