I nodded my head at Sangyeon and smiled reassuringly at Areum. Sangyeon said that he want to meet Areum to make sure she was not a piece of bad news and Sunwoo decided to tag along with us.
"Name?" Sangyeon asked Areum who was sitting beside me.
"Areum"
"Surname?" Sunwoo asked her, changing his naturally deep voice to an extra deep voice which made me bite the inside of my cheek to hold the laughter that threatened to burst out.
"Song Areum" she whispered out, probably because of fear.
"What about your family?" Sangyeon asked, tapping his fingers on the table.
"I don't have parents or siblings. I only have my grandparents" she replied as Sangyeon nodded in approval.
"Where do your grandparents live?" Sunwoo asked, leaning over the table toward me and Areum.
"Uhm-"
"Stop it Sunwoo" I slightly pushed him away, glaring. "You're scaring her"
"Well... That's my intention anyways" he replied, sipping on his bubble tea.
"Okay, so Areum, I need you to keep what I'm about to say a secret. Understand?" Sangyeon sternly said.
"Yes" Areum replied with hunched shoulders.
"Ever heard of The Boyz?"
"T- The Boyz? Wait, a-are you?"
"Yes" Sunwoo interrupted her. "We are them and it'll be better if you don't tell this to anyone or else the consequences will be severe" Sunwoo ended with a slight smirk on his face.
"Don't scare her guys" I said, looking at Areum who was looking down at her lap while fiddling with a ring on her fingers.
"We didn't mean to scare you Areum, but what he told was the truth" Sangyeon said as he stood up. "Let's go now"
"But Y/n-"
She's coming with us and we have informed the cafe owner. Also.." Sunwoo looked at Areum. "Now that you're involved with us and the mafia world, you better listen to us unless you want to die in the hands of another mafia gang or maybe in ours too" he said as he took my wrist in his.
"See ya later" he said and dragged me out of the cafe.
"You rude raccoon!" I slapped Sunwoo's back, making him whine.
"It hurts!" he pouted as I looked at him weirdly.
"Geez. How can you all have that duality?" I muttered, making him laugh.
"Kids! Hop in quickly!" Sangyeon, who left before us, shouted from the car, roaring the engine.
"Coming!" we both shouted and ran, hopping inside the car.
"Put on your seat belts" Sangyeon advised us, turning on the A/c and started to drive.
"Do you guys have any missions today?" I asked, taking out my phone to play some games.
"No" Sangyeon replied. "Today we are going to chill watching some movies on Netflix"
"What?! But we are out of snacks!" Sunwoo dramatically gasped.
"Let's then stop at a convenience store and buy some. It's not a big deal right?" Sangyeon said, taking a U-turn to a convenience store.
"Hyung, I think we should do a background check about that girl" Sunwoo said, making me look up from my phone at them.
"Who? Y/n's best friend? What was her name again?" Sangyeon looked at me from the rear mirror.
"Areum. Song Areum" I replied. "Why are you doing a background check about her?"
"We need to know if she lied to us Y/n. We know that you aren't a bad girl, but at the very beginning when we met you, we did a background check about you too" Sangyeon said.
"Ahhh... Nice" I said and diverted my attention back to my phone screen.
"To be honest, she's not that pretty" Sunwoo suddenly said, taking me by surprise as Sangyeon laughed.
"What the" I chuckled. "Yah, don't lie. She's pretty"
"You're saying that because she's your best friend. She's nothing to me and she's not pretty!" Sunwoo stuck his tongue to me from the front seat, making me sigh.
"Okay children, go and buy whatever snacks you like, but don't overspend" Sangyeon said after he parked the car in a vehicle parking near a convenience store and gave me his card.
"Why?" Sunwoo whispered. "Hyung, I thought you trust meh!"
"I do trust you Sunwoo-yah, with my whole heart, but when it's come to you and my card I'm sorry" Sangyeon said, patting Sunwoo's head who's sulking.
"Come on Sunwoo, let's go"
