"He didn't trouble me except for the fact him asking me whether am I okay with him sleeping in my house" the girl jokingly rolled her eyes making the two boys laugh at her.
"Thank you for taking care of him Y/n. I swear that I didn't know him leaving the mansion or him having a fever" Sangyeon said glaring at Haknyeon making the lad look down at the white, tiled floor.
Y/n chuckled, "It's not a big deal"
"We'll go now"
"Have you eaten?"
Sangyeon looked at Y/n, his eyebrows raised while pointing his index finger at himself, "Me?"
"Yes"
"Ahhh..." the boy trailed off but continued, "No, I had to pick him up sooo"
"There are some leftover waffles that I made for breakfast"
"No it's okay-"
"YES MORE FOOD!" Haknyeon shouted and briskly walked into the kitchen. Y/n chuckled when she saw Sangyeon sighing like a stressed mom.
"Wait... Is that a dog?"
"Huh?" Y/n looked where Sangyeon was looking at like an excited little kid and saw Beyonce looking at them intently, "oh" she laughed and picked Beyonce up, "Meet my pet dog Beyonce"
"BEYONCE?!" Haknyeon screeched coming through the kitchen door. He couldn't help but roar in hysterics as he bent over, slapping his knee repeatedly.
"Hey! Don't laugh at my baby's name" Y/n nuzzled her nose on the side of Beyonce's head who's looking at Sangyeon, wagging her tail.
Haknyeon calmed down, "No no, her name reminded me of Kevin"
"Why?"
"Boy is a sucker for the original singer"
"Beyonce Giselle?"
"Yep"Sangyeon replied, taking the excited dog from Y/n's arms with a soft smile and sat down on the floor.
"I'm sure that Kevin will steal her from you since he can't kidnap the original Beyonce" Haknyeon said joining Sangyeon who's on the floor playing with Beyonce.
"Over my dead body"
Haknyeon let out a big yawn, rubbing his eyes, "I'm sleepy"
"Okay let's go" Sangyeon said making the dog whine as she can understand what he told.
"After I take a nap please"
"Ju Haknyeon" Sangyeon sternly said but Haknyeon was already running up the stairs, giggling like a school girl.
"Are you all right?" Y/n questioned from the older boy as she sat down on the floor, noticing the eye bags under his eyes.
"I'm fine"
"You know, you can tell me if something is bothering you, but only if you're comfortable telling me"
Sangyeon's heart went soft hearing the girls words. He sighed, lips trembling, "We had a mission a week ago"
Her face saddened seeing him trying his best not to burst into tears. "Sunwoo got shot" he quietly said which made Y/n gasp, her eyes widening slightly, "Is he okay?"
"He got shot thrice on his back. It's been 3 days since he got transferred from ICU to a private room but he's still in a comma"
"Don't worry, he'll wake up soon"
"But he got shot because of my thoughtlessness, he said that he got a bad feeling that day!" Sangyeon said, running a hand through his black hair.
"People always learn from their mistakes Sangyeon. We always tend to make mistakes and it's natural and common"
"But I-"
"Don't think so negative of yourself. When you do that you're not only bringing yourself down, you're bringing the others down along with you, always keep that in your mind" he went quiet at her words. Beyonce noticed Sangyeon being sad so she went near him and licked his hand. Sangyeon looked at Beyonce, sadly smiling through his watery eyes and gently rubbed behind her ears making her snuggle into him.
"If you blame yourself this much, you're going to get sick. Think who'll take care of the other members. You're the leader Sangyeon, mainly you're the big brother they all look up to. Will a tree grow strong, if the stem is weak?" the older boy had his head down, avoiding eye contact with the girl, understanding what she's trying to tell, "Think on the bright side, Sunwoo is in a coma, not dead. He got transfer into a private room because his health is improving right?" as harsh as her words sounds, he knew she was telling the truth.
"You're right" Sangyeon agreed, looking at her with slightly red eyes, "Thank you for your kind words Y/n. I don't know what will I do, if I didn't say this problem to you"
"Probably blaming yourself and getting ill"
Sangyeon laughed at her words before checking his phone, "It's getting late now" he said as he was getting up, Y/n following his movement.
"But Haknyeon is sleeping?"
"I'll wake him up" he said proceeding towards the staircase, Beyonce following her new found friend while wagging her tail.
Y/n sighed thinking about Sunwoo and it was until Haknyeon screamed along with Sangyeon who's shouting at him to wake up, making Y/n chuckle softly.
