RIVER POV
Its been 3 weeks since I've gotten out of the hospital. Ezra hasn't bothered us and life's been pretty good. I've been spending a lot of time with Sarah and tonight were going on our first date! I have no idea where were going to go but I'm sure it'll be fun. There's a knock at my door.
"River? My I come in?" My mother asks from behind the door.
"Sure" I say opening the door.
"Look at this mess! You still can't find something to wear?" I nod and she shakes her head and chuckles, "it's Sarah! She'll love anything you wear! She adores you!"
"And I adore her. But I want this to be special! I want to look perfect! I want everything to be perfect!" My parents had taken the whole girl and girl relationship pretty well and were being very supportive.
"Well I figured you'd say something like that so I got you this" she pulls a bag from behind her back and smiles.
"OMG! Mom! You totally didn't have to! Thank you sooo much!" I grab the bag and look inside! It's the dark blue dress with the white lace applicant onto! The one that I'd been admiring when my mom, Sarah and I went to the mall!
"OMG! Thank you mom! This is perfect!" I smile and run into my bath to change. It fits perfectly. I walk about of the bathroom and find both my mother and father in my room.
"Wow! You look stunning!" My father says taking my hand and spinning me around.
"Thank you daddy!" I blush and my mother is beaming. I haven't seen my parents this happy in a really long time.
"OMG! Is that the time? I have to get down stairs! She'll be here any minute!" I race down stairs excited to for my first date with Sarah.
