I close my eyes and let the wind rush past me. 

I wait patiently for the ground to come and sigh quietly. 

Something - Someone catches me. 

I open my eyes. 

Black clothing, black hair, yellow goggles.

I smile mentally and we land on a building. 

The pro hero puts me on the ground and immediately takes his goggles off, showing his eyes full of tears. 

He cups my face and kisses me, I immediately melt into the kiss. 

After a minute, we pull out and he hugs me tightly. 

I bury my head into his neck and purr quietly, he holds me tighter and sighs quietly. 

'Well, isn't this a nice reunion?' 

Our heads immediately look toward the voice and we see Hawks with his hands in his pockets. 

We let go of each other and keep looking at Hawks. 

Hawks strolls over to me and lifts my chin up slightly to look at him. 

'Let's get you home.'

'No.' I say, pulling my head out of his grip. A confused expression appears on his face. 

'No? Baby bird, what do you mean "no"?'

'I mean, no. As in, I am not going home.' I take a step away from him but maintain eye contact. 

'What are you going on about?'

'That was a test of loyalty.' Aizawa says, getting Hawks' attention. 

'Loyalty?' Keigo repeats. 

'There just happened to be a crime at the same time and she was testing if you would choose her over heroism.' 

Takami's eyes widen slightly, I look at the ground and my tail starts swaying from side to side. 

He takes a step towards me. 

'Baby bird-'

'Don't "baby bird" me.' I snap, glaring at him but then sighing. 'You showed that you value work over loved ones, that you would save the community over saving me.'

'Y/n, I-'

'You would've acted differently if I told you it was a test and that I was actually attempting to commit suicide.' I mumble, looking at the ground. 

Hawks huffs quietly and keeps his eyes focused on me. 

'We're going home.'

'There is no we!' I exclaim, my ears pinning to my head and my tail swaying from side to side. 'You wanted this relationship! You started it, but I am ending it. It's done!'

Hawks flinches and exhales slowly as he processes what I have just said. 

'What?' He barely manages to say, I narrow my eyes at him and don't respond. 

He takes another step toward me but Aizawa blocks his path. 

'Hawks.'

'Y/n, please-'

'Hawks.' Aizawa said again, Keigo sighed and a tear escapes his eye. 

'Whatever makes you happy, baby bird.' He says quietly before taking off. 

We watch him become a speck in the distance and Aizawa faces me, he walks towards me and cups my face. 

'Are you alright?' He asks quietly, I kiss him on the lips and he immediately pushes into it.

'I am now.' I say quietly, breaking the kiss and looking at him. He hugs me tightly and I nuzzle my head into his neck, purring. 

'Could we start over?' I ask quietly, Aizawa pulls out of the hug and looks at me. 

'I thought you'd never ask.'
