Addy The Deathsinger's Daughter(DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 19--Discovered part 2

Ingressus pov.

I grip Addy's hand as we walk back to where we last saw the other Ardoni. She seems likes she's struggling to keep up with me and we line up with several Voltaris behind us, all armed and ready to fight them. I draw my sword and Voltar peering through the snow then seeing the other Ardoni and a few other species such as a Magnorite and a Jaggithan. Addy keeps her rapiers holstered to her back, perhaps trusting that I'll protect her. I move into my intimidating stance before gesturing for the Voltaris to charge down. They all obey my command and I Mobliflash down just behind them watching them charge towards the group. I continue to walk at a normal pace with Addy just behind me. I block a Nestoris as he charges forward and knock him away, I'm about to kill him before a female Sendaris jumps down and swipes at me with her spear. Addy draws her rapiers and slashes at the Sendaris distracting her as I charge towards the Jaggathan as he's about to kill a young female Voltaris. I knock him back and help the female up.

"Thank you, my lord." She says bowing. I glance back to see that Addy is dodging the female Sendaris attacks pretty well and I charge forward throwing the female Sendaris in the snow. She sits up as I advance towards her, but she wisely runs away as I turn towards Addy.

"Come on we can get the Aggresium Prime while they're distracted." I tell her and she runs over to me running after me down and following me as we run along. I glimpse a light in the distance and run towards it further. We eventually reach it and I knock on the door knowing that a Glacian lives here. he opens the door and looks at me.

"I would like the Aggresium Prime if you can." I say politely and the Glacian nods before shutting the door slightly and gestures for us to come inside. He then goes downstairs, and Addy pulls her cloak close to her.

"He seems nice." She comments and I nod slightly.

"I suppose." I say and then hold up my head as the Glacian comes back up, holding the only Prime that I didn't manage to claim. He hands it towards me, and I take it hungrily running my fingers along the edges of the cube. Addy seems mesmerized and the Glacain nods to us then leaves. I pocket the Prime Song and grab Addy's hand gently leading her outside and back into the battle. She glances around at the battle, and I let go of her hand as a Mendoris (Val) runs up and tries to fight me. Addy runs off to fight someone else and I dodge the Mendoris' arm blades cutting at her and causing her to shirk away slightly and I fire my normal Aggresium song at her making her fly back and get knocked out. I adjust slightly then keep fighting.

Addy pov.

I run towards the Magnorite a bit hesitantly knowing that he's much stronger than me. I jump at him swinging my rapiers at him and he easily deflects me with his fists. I dodge as he tries to hit me in the head then he adjusts and slams his fist into one of my rapiers and I remember training with father, how I always struggled to hold him off. I start to feel my grip on my rapier sliping and I grip it as hard as I can before getting thrown back. I sit up and as I do I feel a iron blade rest at my throat.

Ingressus pov.

I knock the Nestoris back a way and advance towards him but find him looking the other way with triumphant eyes. I turn as well and my heart stops at the sight. The clanless Ardoni has his blade pressed to Addy's throat and is getting ready to kill her. I forget the Nestoris and run forward before the female Sendaris blocks me. I slice at her with my sword which she dodges and spins her spear. I slam my sword down towards her, but she blocks me with her spear. Through my blind rage and stress, I manage to break her spear head in half. Her eyes widen at the broken pieces on the ground before she has to think quickly to dodge my sword as I swipe at her head again. She flings what remains of her spear up as I try to come in for her chest. I manage to disarm her and throw her to the ground practically slamming my foot down on her chest to keep her in place.

Senn pov.

I manage to keep my sword pressed to the female Voltaris' throat dispite seeing Ria getting pushed back heavily by the Deathsinger. Just the thought that the Deathsinger is back is enough to make me shiver down my spine. I can only watch as he knocks Ria down and puts his foot on her chest. I hear a shivering 'crunch' from under the Deathsinger's foot. He raises his sword to kill her, and my eyes widen but I refuse to let go of the female when she whimpers in fear and makes me feel slightly sorry for her. The Deathsinger notices my gaze and stops before he can stab Ria in the chest. I can practically feel Ria's panicked breathing even from here. 

"Give me back my daughter with no injuries and I will spare her life!" he yells over the storm gesturing to Ria when he says 'her'. My heart pounds, I have a choice to make, set the Deathsinger's daughter free and let this battle end.... or let Ria--My mate, die at his hands. 

"I'm warning you!" The Deathsinger says again and presses harder on Ria's chest as she tries to get up. I lower my sword on the female's throat slightly but don't let her go.

"Let me go to my father, and no harm will come to that female." She whispers in a soft and scared voice. I quiver slightly as the Deathsinger watches me. I pull my sword back up to her throat and the Deathsinger turns back to Ria bringing the sword down.

"I'll give her back!" I find myself yelling letting go of the female and letting her stumble forward into her father's arm. He lifts his sword back up and pulls his daughter closer to him glaring at me but takes his foot off of Ria and continues to stare at me. 

"Don't follow us and if I see you again..." The Deathsinger hisses but stops and instead hugs his daughter, happy that she's ok. They turn and start walking away but the next words the Deathsinger says are a warning. "If I see you again you will not expect mercy."
