Oh my gosh!!! I want to seriously thank all of you readers who have taken the time out of theirs lifes to read my story!!! In the past 3 days I have jumped over 4,000 reads!!! Major thank you to all you wonderful readers!!!! Here is the new update!!!!

My week of Heat is finally over. Sam and I really never left the room. Well San left to get food for us. I on the other hand am on lock down, apparently not only was my scent teasing to Sam but it also drove the other wolves crazy. My week with Sam was amazing connecting us in so many ways and on so many levels. My Heat ended last night and finally we are able to just breathe and sleep. Although for some reason sleep just will not come to me. Sighing i rolled over to look at Sam. He looks sooo exhausted even in sleep. I felt bad exhausting him like that and he still was checking in on his men. Sighing again i rolled over onto my back staring at the ceiling.

"Sleep." I heard Sam's sleepy voice.

"I can't." I said turning my head to look at him.

"Why?" Sam said opening his eye to peek at me.

"I'm restless. I've been cooped up to long." I said huffing out a sigh. I watched as Sam sit up and stretch.

"Let's go doll." He said throwing the blankets off.

"Huh?" I asked confused. I watched him as he walked over to me grabbing my hand he pulled me to my feet.

"Let's go for a run." He said pulling me close to him. Placing a soft gentle kiss to my lips. Eager with his kiss i pressed myself into him. Nipping at his lip. Earning a growl from him.

Pulling back Sam looked at me. "Now none of that or we wont leave this room.....again." He said chuckling. Standig there i started to pout until his words sunk in. Quickly grabbing his hand I pulled him towards the door. Hearing chuckle behind me I couldn't help but smile.

"Hurry! Hurry i want to run!" Athena voiced.

"Yes yes I'm going. Are you ready to run with our mate?" I asked her while looking back at Sam. We can hear each others thoughts like he does with his pack but he doesn't hear everything unless I let him in my mind fully and vice versa. Finally reaching the back door Sam stopped me.

"Wait let me make sure it's clear." Sam said pulling me behind him.

"Clear?" I asked.

"Yes it is clear of my men. Your mine. No one can see you half naked." Sam said eyeing me. Looking down I saw iw as only in his shirt and my underwear.

"Oh." Opening the door Sam steppes out.

"Come on out baby doll." Sam called out through our mind link. Squealing with excitement I bolted out the door. I was met with the moon shinning bright. I could feel my skin prickle with excitement. I could feel the warmth rush across my skin as the change over took my body. I can feel th achy soreness begin as i crouched down to the ground. Hearing the popping and cracking of my bones breaking and snapping into the wolf. Looking up through Athena's eyes I saw Sam waiting for me at the edge of the tree line.

"Let's race!" I told Athena. Her chuckling was my reply as we shot forward passing by Sam. "Come on Sam!!" I yelled out to him through our link.

"Run fast my little wolf cause I will catch you." I heard Sam's voice in my head.

Chuckling we ran faster dodging in and out of trees. Hearing Sam right behind us. Pushing my paws harder into the dirt. Launching us faster and further.

"Athena how about we kick it up a notch?" I said chuckling. As i felt the surge of raw power coursing through us. Launching us faster than before. The outline of trees began to blur. I could feel the wind rushing through my fur.

"Kitten are we trying to run away?" Ash's deep rumble sounded in my head.

"Kitten? I'll show you kitten." Athena's replied making a sharp left turn. Circling arou d to be behind Sam.

Launching us into the air as Athena pounced landing on Sam. Rolling us over onto the forest floor. Pinning Sam underneath us. Nipping at his neck. Growling playfully.

"Do not be fooled. I am no kitten my dearest. I am The She-Wolf who has taken the mighty Alpha down." Her power radiates through her words.

"You are right. You are no kitten my darlig mate. You have taken me but I let you." Ash chuckled quickly rolling us so we were pinned beneath him. Bitting into our my neck. "My mate. My beautiful mate." Giving my face one last lick he eased off me. "We should head home and get some rest." He said pacing around me.

"Uh.....I guess." Standing up shaking the dirt out of my coat. Nudging Sam we began our trek towards our house. "Sam I want to say thank you."

"For what Alex?"

"For accepting me. For not killing me. For not throwing me out. For accepting us." I said snuggling closer into his side as best as i could while we walked. "When the rogues came, I thought that was the end. They took everything from me. I really didn't expect to have a life. I wanted to die with them. To be with them and not be alone you know. Instead I got a new life, a new chance to actually live and have a meaning to this life. So thank you." We had stopped walking by now and we were facing each other. Sam pushed his snout against my face. Nudging me he slide his body up next to mine.

"I know you must miss them,your family but their deaths were a sacrafice so you could live. I will thank them fron here and now and even into the after life. You are my mate, I will cherish and adore you. I will protect you and chase away all your fears. Now that your mine and we have fully become one you are my life. For you I will live. For you I'll take down anything who wishes to bring harm to you. I will give my life to ensure your life." I heard the truth in his words. I felt the love behind them. Athena lunged forward tackling him to the ground. Smothering them in licks. "Ok ok let's head home it's getting late." Sam said us off. Getting up he took off towards home.

"Let's follow our mate." I told Athena.

"Yes our mate." Athena said dreamily.

Getting up we started after Sam. I could see him a ways up from us but I was enjoying the pace I was at. The night was beautiful. The moon shinning bright down upon me. The feel of the Moon Goddess smilling down on our bond. I could hear the faint whoo-whoos of an owl near by. I could feel the fur on my back rise with an anxious feeling that over took the calm. Athena seemed to become more alert slowing our pace. Taki g in everything in. The woods seemed familiar to me alnost like dej'vu. That's when I noticed the fog rolling i across the ground. Letting my growl vibrate from my chest out my throat. I warned whatever not to mess with me.

"Ha ha ha ha ha." I could hear someone laughing.

"Sam!" I yelled out to him.

"Alex! Alex where are you?" I heard Sam's worried voice. "I can't see through the fog."

"I'm coming. I wanred you." The voice was deep with malice.

"Sam hurry please!" I cried out to him.

"Now is not the time though. Oh such a waste though." With that the fog cleared as I saw Sam racing towardd me. I've never been so happy to see his midnight black wolf before.

"What was that?" I asked Sam.
