Forever Hiding

The Reveal

        Floating and glidding. I felt giddy, i feltl at home. Every little worry, every pain, every frustration, everything was numb....gone. Finally at peace. I dont know where i am or how long i've been here but it was quite. It was mine. I wasn't scared. I wasn't on the run. The pain of losing my family was gone. I knew i missed them but it was gone. Enjoying the darkness, the peace it brought to me. Until it happened, the tugging feeling i got. It was a small tug and then another. Another but this time harder and harder till i was slammed into something. That something would be my body. The feelings slamming back to me. The agnozing pain. My heart beating wildly against my ribs. I groaned with the pain. I couldn't move, i couldn't think there was to much pain. Raidiating from my neck spread down through my limbs and back again. I wanted the numbness, i wanted the peace and the silence. I kept groaning the pain was to much.

        "Athena" My voice was weak. A whisper like the sofest winds.

        "Alex.." She was real weak.

        "I'm so sorry." I whispered to her letting my feeling flow through our connection.

        "No we did our best. I hope that revealing that we are female wont be a mistake." her words a caress through my mind. We stayed quite. Soon i could hear a beeping noise. Over and over again. I tried opening my eyes but i couldn't. They felt like a ton. I could hear what sounded like a door opening and then closing. Hear footsteps walk across the floor. Heavy breathing. The air tainted by a males scent. I didn't feel right. The air was tense. I could feel a light brush of finger tips against my legs. I could feel the panic rise as the fingers slide further up my leg. A low rumbling started vibrating in m chest. Athena was weak but not weak enough to growl. The fingers stopped. Footsteps followed by the door opening and closing. Exhaustion over taking us falling back into the darkness.

        Waking sometime later the pain has eased a little. I tried opening my eyes and they fluttered open and then closed. I tried again this time staying open. I looked around the room to see i was in what looked like a hospital. I struggled lifting my hand to my neck feeling the bandages. I winced at the memory of teeth sinking in. I had to leave. I had to go before i was hurt more. Raising my hand i saw iv's tapped down. Grabbing them i yanked them out of my hand. Wincing as i saw the blood well up. Throwing my legs over the bed i got up. My knees wanting to give out. Trembling as i took steps towards the door. Listening to the other side i heard nothing grabbing the handle i turned the knob. Cracking the doo a little i poked my head out i saw no one. I made a right out the door heading down the hall way. Checking over my shoulder. Running right into a wall. Knocking me down on to my butt. Looking up i saw him. A man bending down to me. Growling at him trying to scramble away. My fear increasing. I could feel Athena wanting to take control. He tried coming towards me only to stop when another growl escaped my lips. I could feel my control slip and the wamrth i've grown to love explode. My wold standing proud shownig off her pearly whites growling. She lunged without a second thought. Putting everything I had into the attack. Pawing him, digging my claws into his face, chest and arms, snapping and bitting anywhere i could. I felt arms wrap around me and squeeze. It became harder to breathe. My eyes began to feel heavy, could feel the darkness creeping in.

        "Stop fighting she-wolf." That was the las thing i heard. Darkness once again consuming me. taking me hold as it prisoner. Dragging me furhter into the depths of hell. This time there was no numbness, no peace and no silence. My fears following me. Chilling me to the bone. Who were these people? Did i make a mistake changing? Were they going to kill me? Or worse...use me? I wanted to cry. It seemed like an enterity with the fog clouding my mind. Something happened though becuase the fog of darkness began to lift. My mouth was beyond dry. Dry like deserts, wishing for rain. I had no spit to even try to wet my mouth or to swallow. Blinking several times i saw i was back in the same room i awoke in the fisrt time. Rehooked to the iv's only this time i was hand-cuffed to the bed. I tugged on them to no avail, i wasn't going to break them. So i sat there. On the far side of the wall was a clock. A black standard circle clock. 12:03 was the time. There was a door on the right my guess a bathroom. Door on the left was the door i walked out of earlier. The room was a cream colored. The blankets was a light shade of brown. Which was totally different from a normal hospital. Of course there was the ever so tacky hospital lights. I sighed i was stuck. I waited another hour and no one had come in.

        "Hello!" I yelled out. Nothing, no answer. I was starting to get pissed. I had to use the damn bathroom. Did they forget they have someone hand-cuffed to a damn bed in one of their rooms? "Hello! Your prisoner needs to pee!!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Athena chuckled at me. Hmph. 2:20. Finally i could hear footsteps approach the door. I braced myself drawing in my fear and put on my poker face. The door opened slowly a males musky scent wafting into the room along with...excitment. In popped a heafull of black hair. Green eyes swarming with excitment. His skin was kissed by the sun. laugh lines surrounding his kissable lips. He looked familiar. Something about i've seen before. I couldn't think of it though.

        "Oh good your awake." His voice was low and smooth like silk. I just continued to stare at him. "So your a werewolf huh?" He said glidding up to my bed side. I just gave him the did-you-just-really-ask-me-that look. "Yeah dumb question." He said looking at his feet. "Was i lucky to have found you though." He said rubbing his hands together. His excitment rolling off of him in waves.

        My wolf and i didn't like that very much. Letting the rumbling vibrate through my chest. He quickly threw his hands in the air as if he was surrendering. "Bathroom." I said pulling on the hand-cuffs. Hearing the metal scraping against metal. A look of confusion crossed his face before realization hit.

        "Oh..oh gotcha. Let me get those off of you." He said digging into his pocket producing a key. Leaning in next to me. Athena pacing through my mind growling low and deep. "Calm it down pup or i'll just walk out this room." He said leaning in again. Grabbing hold of the cuffs he uncuffed me. Throwing my legs over the bed. "Oh and by the way names Blake." He said as i took off towards the bathroom.

        Pausing slightly. "Names Alexanderia." I said beofre slamming the door closed.

I hope you guys are enjoying this story as much as i am writting it!! Im trying to at least post twice a week. Im home 13 hours a day with my two children and until daddy comes home. Then its mommy time and thats normally when i write a post. Please vote and comment. Would love to get fed back!!
