Our Awaited Talk

Hello lovely readers!! Ive noticed my goal was not met...it is ok kinda sad but ok i will continue on with the story. Sorry it has taken me awhile. Last friday had car problems got it fixed now this friday have more car problems back to the garage it goes. I wont keep yall waiting any longer onward with the story!!

      I looked at Sam to see a disappointed look on his face. I looked over to Dax to him shake his head at me.

       "What?" I asked confused.

        "You just blew your cover. Clarissa....who knows what she will do now. You need to keep your wolf under control." Sam said the Alpha in him coming out.

   I dropped my head in shame. "Yes Alpha." I said turning around to go back to my room.

      "Alex I'm not mad....upset maybe but that's only cause I don't want you to get hurt. You have to control her. No one else can know that you have a wolf. Not yet anyways." Sam said walking to me lifting my chin up so he could look at me.

   Never before had someone scolded me besides my parents but even then that was rare. I just nodded my head trying to keep the unshed teas from falling. Sam wiped his thumb under my eye catching a stray tear. Damn traitor. Suddenly his arms embraced me in a warm tight hug. Shocking waves of warmth spread over me as Sam held me close. Before I knew it tears were pouring down my face. There all traitors. I felt Sam's embrace tigthen around me whispering calming words to me as sobs racked my body. I felt myself being picked up anf carried out of the kitchen. I clung to Sam as if my life depended on it. I felt Sam sit down and lay back. His hands running up and down my back trying to soothe me.

      "Let it all out darling. I've got you." I heard Sam yet his voice sounded distant.

         I felt bad for raising my voice at her but she needs to be careful. Did her parents not teach her control? I sighed looking down at my mate. She was beyond beautiful. The Moon Goddess has blessed me in so many ways. I was truly thankful. I'm slowly coming around to finally having a mate....not only a mate but the first she-wof. Bending my neck forward i placed a kiss to her head.

        "Blake." I called out through our link.

       "What's up? And uh who let the rogue out?" I could feel Blake's confusion.

         "I did. That is Alexanderia's second Guardian. Show him around, clothe him and please feed him."

        "Oh cooling bonding time. By the way where is Alex? I went by her room and she wasn't there."

       "She is with me. If you need me I'm in my room." I said cutting off our link.

    Breathing in her scent I could feel myself relax falling further into the sleep that awaited me.

     Waking sometime later I saw Alex stirring in her sleep as she whimpered. I put my hand on her cheek turning her head to face me.

        "Alex darling wake up." I said softly to her.

       "No...Daddy." She mumbled. Even in sleep pain was etched onto her face.

     "Alex." I said a little louder. Finally her eyes fluttered open.

     "Sam?" She questioned.

     "Yes darling. What were you dreaming about?" I saw her cringe as i asked.

      "Nothing." Was her short reply.

      "Alex please don't lie to me. We are mates." I said leaning down to run my face along hers.

      "My family." She answered on a sigh. "I was dreaming about the night i lost them."

       "What happened to them?" I asked pullig her close to me. Loving the feel of her next to me.

       "They died protecting me. All of them. My mom, dad, Dray, Mike and Desile. It was the middle of the night when the rogues came. My family had enough time to make sure i escaped before they attacked." She whispered. I knew in her mind she was reliving it. "It's my fault they are dead. My brothers...they had so much to live for and yet..." Her voice broke as she held in her sob. Letting go of her i sat up.

     "Alex darling look at me. Yes it is a tragdy that your family died but they died protecting you. They knew you were special that you had a destiny to fulfill. Knew the Moon Goddess appointed you. They died for you to have a life." I said brushing tears from her face. Grabbing her face between my hands i leaned down placing my lips against hers. Drownig in the taste of her. Craving, needing more from her. I pulled back from her listening to her whimpers.

         "I'm sorry." I said placing a quick kiss to her forehead.

      "It's fine." She said with an embrassed smile on her face.

   I let out a small chuckle pulling her close to me. "So about our talk. Do you have any questions?" I asked her.

"Hmmmm.....obiviously you and Clarissa had a thing. How long and did you uh have uh sex with her?" She whispered the last word.

   Chuckling at her question i answered her. "Clarissa and I haven't had an actual relationship. We fooled around yes but nothing serious. Yes we did we did have sex." I told her the truth, holding nothing back.

       "Oh ok." I heard her breathe out. "I'm not mad or anything. I understand." She said looking up at me. Honesty rings in her words. Truth shinning bright in her eyes.

      "I'm going to explain anyway. There will be nothing and I mean nothing between us. I never wanted a mate. Being mated killed my parents. My parents died from a rogue attack. There was an attack on our pack and mt father being Alpha went to protect his people. My mother went to together the women and chidlren to usher them to safety. Her last group a rogue saw them and went straight for one of the children. Being the Luna she threw herself in front of the rogue. Killing herself to save the child. My father felt the pain of her death lost focus and the rogues took their oppurtunity and killed him as well. I was 17 at the time and Clarissa was there to comfort me mentally and with her body. For awhile i welcomed her into my bed. Then I started noticing a change in her. She became clingy, started telling pack members that when we were of age that she would become my Luna. I started to distance myself from her in hopes she would stop. Months passed and she seemed fine and i was lonely. Then it started all over again. This routine continued throughout the years. I offically stopped that my first night i saw you. This time though i don't think she will understand." I told her the whole truth. It seemed like an enterity passed before she spoke.

        "I understand. You needed that love, that connection to someone. She used you in hopes of gaining power in the pack. Although i do feel bad for her. Either she at one point loved you and became obessed or she is just crazy. Either way i do feel bad for her. Thank you for tellig me." She said smiling at me.

    I looked at her shocked. Never had i met a woman was understanding and caring except for my mother. They either pretended to car only for the attention of the Alpha or like Clarissa to climb the power tower. My smile grew so big it hurt my cheeks. "Thank you for understanding."

        "Sam do you think we can make it as mates and to save our race?" She asked me looking at me.

    I stilled for a moment to gather my thoughts. "Yes i do think we can make it as mates. At first i fought it but now i have acceptes it and I'll cherish it till my last breathe. We may not be in love with each other now but it will come. I do know though that I care for you deeply already. As for the future of our race we will go day by day. Face everything together and with the help from the Moon Goddes i think we will succeed. There will be struggles but we have each other to lean on for strength." I told her the hope and truth from the bottom of my heart.

A smile forming on her lips as she looked at me. "Thank you. The Moon Goddess picked a good mate for me. I can only hope we grow  from here as well." She said before leaning and softly kissing my lips. I knew right then and there i would do anything and everything to make her happy.
