It was now time for Elizabeth and Belly to get ready for the tea party. Susannah said its where all the girls get to meet each other and their big sisters. Susannah and Laurel were helping Belly and Elizabeth get ready.

None of the boys were home, Steven and Jeremiah were both working at the country club, and Conrad had went surfing.

Elizabeth was wearing a long pale yellow dress that had little pink flowers on it, she chose a simple pair of white heels to wear with it.  She kept her hair simple just curling it, and was barely wearing any makeup.

"Oh, you girls look so beautiful," Susannah gushed when the two girls finished getting ready. "Ok, time to put the fascinators on."

Elizabeth's was a light pink, it looked like a thick headband with a little bit of fabric that went over her face.

Elizabeth was just glad all the other girls would be wearing one too.

Susannah was sitting on the couch after Laurel had decided to drive the girls to the country club for the tea party.

"Honey?" She yelled out when she hear the back door close. She knew it had to be Conrad since everyone else was busy. "Hey, hon?"

"Yeah?" Conrad sighed walking into the living room.

"Would you change and meet me out back? I want to paint your portrait first," she smiled at Conrad.

"Why me?"

"Cause everyone else has things to do," she shrugged.

"I have things to do too, mom," Conrad told her.

"I think you can spare a few hours for your mother, hmm?

"Sure."

"Great," Susannah smiled. "I'll see you outside in ten?"

"See you there."

"Put on something nice," Susannah yelled at him as he went up the stairs.

It didn't take long for Susannah to set up everything. She decided to do Conrad's portrait out on the dock. By the time she was done setting up Conrad had made it down.
