The Cadet Corps (III)

Oc's Pov

This time, The 104th cadet corps has been split into two groups. This time we were to make a round trip to our target location and record our progress in a given time period. The journey to the destination goes on for about 40 km. Marco was the group leader of the other team while Armin was keeping the record. The other team in team I am in was led by Thomas and Mikasa was the record keeper. Both teams proceeded out at the same time and started moving toward the giant forest. We were to trade information and return to the starting point to complete the loop. The objective of this exercise was to evaluate everyone's ability to sustain themselves in the absence of crisis. 

Shadis- That's all. Straight forward and simple. It could be thought of as training one that even you cowards can pass, but it's not. In any situation do not forget you will need to fight! Emergency or not a soldier is a soldier! Don't succumb the boredom! Never stop exercising your hands and feet! Training is also a battle! Don't forget that!

Everyone- Yes Sir!

Krista's Pov

Marco- We are not allowed to rush?

Armin- R-Right

Marco- We'd also be stupid if we did. We can take our time

Eren- You don't know your lower limit. Jean, If you are going to take it slow, I am going ahead

Armin- Wait Eren...

Marco- But the formation of the group...What do we do Jean?

Jean- Like I care! The extra effort here won't get me to the Mp

Marco- That's not true...In any case, Let's go on with the exercise

Jean- It's useless

Eren- Hey, Hurry up, will you? Don't you have any endurance for this?

Jean- It doesn't matter if I'm complaining

Eren- It would be nice if the time goes on faster in that case

Sasha- We have a long distance ahead of us

Oc's Pov

Thomas- If that's true then we won't be able to reach there before nightfall

Mikasa- Then maybe we should head eastward a little?

Thomas- On the hand, It may be too shady

Mikasa suddenly looked behind.

Thomas- What is it? Mikasa

Mikasa- It's nothing. It's just me...

I was bathing my horse and giving her some water.

Krista's Pov

We were going side by side with a giant Lizard.

Jean- Geez. That lizard's joining us at the same route, Huh...

Marco- It's very rare to see

Sasha- That's very delicious I know!

Krista- What?

Sasha- They really are! My family and I used to eat them. They taste like chicken

Jean- You can cook?

Sasha- Of course! I can, Piece of Cake!

Jean- alrighty! Then

Jean kicked his horse and started rushing.

Marco- H-Hey

Jean- If hunting for food is a part of exercise then how about we get the lizard?!

Krista- Don't do that!
