Benedict and Esther sat beside one another in the not so peaceful drawing room of the Bridgerton's home. The newest addition to the Bridgerton clan was their baby son, Francis; named after Esther's closest cousin.
Marie let out an angelic laugh as she spun around her eldest niece, Elizabeth, and sitting beside her was her husband, Mr Thomas Blackwell. They had married earlier that spring and were completely in love, after all it is was Marie deserved Esther thought.
Elizabeth, who had just had her 5th birthday, let out an excited exclaim when Violet entered the drawing room. "Grandmother!" The dowager viscountess smiled as she bent down to hug one of her many grandchildren.
"Where is your sister?" The older lady asked before she noticed her other granddaughter sat beside Hyacinth at the pianoforte.
"Esther, dear, congratulation upon getting your painting hung in the Royal Gallery!" Violet beamed widely as she kissed her daughter-in-law's cheek and sat down beside Marie.
"Bloody hell, well done!" Thomas exclaimed which made his wife hisses, "Thomas, language. There are children." He only nodded and kissed her cheek with a soft, "Of course, sorry dear."
"They are displayed right beside my mother's." Esther told Violet, letting out a sigh as she thought of her mother.
"I shall take Francis now, after all I am his favourite parent." Benedict smirked as he carefully took the bundled up baby into his arms. Esther only glared at her husband.
"Im joking, love you." He awkwardly chuckled before kissing his wife's rosey cheek. Then, he turned to the peacefully sleeping baby, his cheeks crimson and long eyelashes fluttering.
Benedict smiled proudly at his son before tucking the cotton white fabric embroidered with several golden blooming marigolds in.
