You and Spencer have an argument while away working on a case.

It would be a lie to say that it isn't not difficult to have a relationship with somebody you work with. There are pros and cons to having your lives intertwine so much with one another.
On one hand, you were so undoubtedly and madly in love with Spencer, and being able to spend practically everyday and every night together was idillic. On the other hand, there wasn't much time for you two to have some healthy time apart, even a day a week to spend time with yourself. This meant the two of you clashed a little more, bumped heads and had different opinions while working on a case.
The case was in Colorado, in mid January. You and the team had already been there for five days, traipsing in the snow constantly and still no closer to finding the unsub. The tension and the stress was starting to heighten, and you could feel it in the room you and Spencer shared in the chalet-type place the team was staying. That's how it was last night, and you knew tonight wouldn't be much better.
You and the team were sat around a large wooden coffee table in the main dining area, files and half filled cups of coffee sprawled across the mahogany wood, discussing where the profile went wrong.
"Garcia can't find anything with the profile we've given. We have to re-trace our steps and figured where we went wrong." Hotch said, looking around at everyone.
"We must have had the basics right. Male, early twenties, single." Derek replied, flicking through some of the paper.
"But what about the other stuff? We said he would have no family. Maybe he does have family, but doesn't have a good relationship with them. We can't rule out relationships with his mother and father. We profiled he's isolated but what if he isn't?"
You said, looking around at everyone."For what he's been doing to these victims, he needs his own space. Privacy. There's no way his parents wouldn't catch him if he carried these murders out in the house." Spencer said.
"That's true but what about a basement? Or a separate part of the house-" you tried to reason.
"He has to live alone." Spencer said, shutting down the idea.
"But the profile isn't coming up with anything so we need to admit that might not be the case." You said frustratedly and Spencer looked at you through furrowed eyebrows.
"Okay. Lets look at both ideas. Reid says he has to live alone, maybe we should look at someone who's more transient. Staying in motels, stuff like that. And Y/N's idea, that he could be with his parents. We'll get Garcia to do a search on both." Derek said, trying to ease the tension.
"We should all go to bed. Pick this up in the morning and see what Garcia gets." Hotch said as he gathered his papers, standing up.
JJ, Emily, Derek and Rossi stood up too, all saying goodnights to both you and Spencer as the two of you got up and headed to your room.
You walked into the room, pulling your shoes off with a sigh as Spencer came in behind you, closing the door a little louder than usual.
You turned to look at him for a moment, shaking your head slightly before heading to the small fire and getting it lit up to create more warmth in the room.
