Chapter 26 The Final Battle

"Where do you think your going love?" Aboddon asked, grabbing Katya by the hair and pulling her away from the door. Crying out, she grabbed his hand, trying to pry his fingers out if her hair.
"The master said I couldn't kill you but that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun" Aboddon said with a sick smile. The sound of weapons clanging together and loud growls echoed throughout the throne room as Apollyon and the master fought.
Aboddon stalked towards Katya, she reached up to grab her scythe only to feel that it wasn't there.
"Don't you worry i already took and destroyed that scythe of yours" Katya quickly stood up and put her fists up, backing away.
"Now what fun would that be!" Aboddon asked, grabbing his sword and throwing it to her feet, "pick it up" Aboddon says stretching his arms. Katya quickly picks it up and points it towards him, unsure of what game he was playing. Aboddon lowered slightly, "well come on then" he said motioning with his hands. Katya charged at him but every swing was easily dodged. Swing after swing, step after step it was like a little dance he did as he easily dodged her. Laughing Aboddon sidestepped her swing then back handed her across the face sending her falling to the ground. The master growled angrily as Katya hit the floor, this cause Apollyon to loose focus as he heard Katya's yelp from getting hit. The master grabbed Apollyon's scythe and forced him up against the wall, "your weakness is showing" the master growled happily. When the master growled Aboddon turned to look at him with regret Katya took that moment and plunged her sword into Aboddon's stomach.
"You bitch" Aboddon mumbled before falling backwards. He lay on the ground, grabbing the sword he slowly pulls it out and drops it beside him.
"Katya!" Navi yelled running across the bridge towards her. Right before she reached the door the master swung his hand out and magically forced the doors to close. Navi stood outside, banging her fists against it trying to push it open but it would not budge.

When the master released one of the hands to close the door it gave Apollyon the perfect opportunity to kick his master away from him. Swinging the scythe above his head he hooked the blade around the back of the masters head.
"This isn't over yet" the master said as Apollyon pulled the blade, cutting his head clean off his shoulders. The master's body dropped to the ground with a thud us Apollyon dropped to his knees, bloodied and bruised. Slowly his demon form shrank back to his human form. A black smoke billowed from the master's body slowly floating into the air.
"Apollyon!" Katya cried running towards him but the thick smoke shot straight to her surrounding her.
"Katya!" Apollyon yelled as he struggled to stand up.

Navi's uncle and a few of the orcs reached her, "are you okay?" He asked looking at her worried, the battle behind them still raging as orcs and demon a like fought to the death, luckily the orcs where slowly starting to win.
"They... are... in there!" Navi said gasping for breathe. Her uncle looked at his fellow orcs and nodded, they ran to the door and started trying to break the door down. Bang. Bang. Bang.

"Katya!" Apollyon cried as the smoke disappeared and she stood there in a daze. She blinked a few times before smiling up at him.
"Now my dear Apollyon we can rule the demons together" she said grabbing Apollyon by the neck and forcefully kissing him. Apollyon flinched and pushed her away, "what is wrong with you?" He asked knowing that something was wrong with her.
"You refused me once Apollyon but will you refuse her?" She asked motioning towards her body.
"No..." Apollyon said taking a step back in shock, "you couldn't have".
"Oh but I have. She was just my little insurance policy in case you defied me for the last time" Katya said laughing evily. Apollyon grabbed his sword from his sheathe and held it out at her, hand shaking as he did.
"I am surprised" Katya gasped, "are you really going to kill the woman you love?" Bang. Bang. Bang.
"You have already killed her" Apollyon says as tears drop from his eyes. He charges forward and plunges his sword deep in her chest, the door breaks down as Navi stands on the other side to witness Katya's death.
"I..." Katya says coughing out some blood. She reached up and gently cupped Apollyon's cheek, wiping away the tears "I.. Love... you" she says before dropping to the ground. Apollyon falls to his knees, picking up Katya and cradling her in his arms. Tears fell from his face and landed on Katya's as he places his head against hers.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry" he cries repeating the words over and over again as her body became limp and she died in his arms. Apollyon's heart broke into a million pieces, the only thing he cared about, loved, was now dead.
"Noooo!!!" Navi screamed, Aboddon ripped a dagger from a hidden pocket, this one coated in a very special poison and plunged it into Apollyon's back going straight to his heart. Apollyon's eyes shot wide as he turned to look at his cousin, his stomach still bleeding profusely but he smiled, a genuine happy smile, "Thank you cousin" Apollyon said with a raspy voice before he fell to his side and laid on the ground.
"You Bastard!" Navi screamed as she ran at Aboddon, her father's great axe in her hands. The axe hit his neck, sliced through his heart and out the other side, slicing him in half completely.
"No" Navi whispered as she fell to her knees beside Katya and Apollyon. "This was not your fate! THIS WASN't SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!" She screamed as tear cascaded down her face. Sobbing loudly, her uncle walked over to her and picked her up. She buried her face in his shoulders as her body shook violently from the gasps and sobs that came from her.
"It is okay Navi, let's go home" her uncle whispered to her softly as he carried her out of the carnage.
