After spending time in the forest Katya and Apollyon had decided to set up a little homestead there. Apollyon and Aboddon worked together to bring supplies to the base. Every log Apollyon brough Aboddon would bring two. Apollyon glared at Aboddon and grabbed three logs, Aboddon struggled but managed to bring four. The tension between Apollyon and Aboddon was thick as they gathered things, trying to out do the other.
"Boys! Stop" Katya said out of breathe, she was trying to keep up with the supplies they were bringing in but she was struggling. The two glared at each other and snapped back "what?" At the same time.
"Woah" Katya says putting her hands up, "the cabin is done" she laughs.
"Look at this place! It's amazing" Apollyon says walking towards it.
"Amazing? This is a work of genius! The most finely crafted home I have ever seen" Aboddon gushes earning an eye roll from Apollyon.
"Come in" Katya says opening the front door, they are greeted with an entryway full of plants and tapestries on the wall. Stairs to their left, the kitchen in front of them and a sitting room to their right. Beside the kitchen and in front of the sitting room is a dining room and to the right a door.
"This is your room Aboddon" she says opening the door.
"Oh what a luxurious room, I am truly blessed to be in the presence of an angel" Aboddon says laying it on thick.
"But where is your room?" He asks looking around.
"Oh, it's upstairs" Katya says pointing up.
"What?" Aboddon says fake gasping, "we will not be room neighbours?" He asks sadly, grabbing Katya's hand and pulling her close. He moves his head to Katya's ear and whispers, "How about roommates?".
Apollyon clenched his jaw as he grabbed Katya by the waist and pulled her to his side, "how 'bout you go to bed" Apollyon growls at Aboddon, he sighs and goes into his room shutting the door behind him.
"I really hate him" Apollyon growls.
"Oh stop, he seems harmless" Katya laughed, grabbing his hand and leading him upstairs.
"This is your room" she says opening the first door upstairs. Apollyon looked around with a smile on his face. "I love it, thank you" he says hugging her, "but where is your room?" He wondered.
"Oh" she says walking back out into the hallway, "this one" she says opening the room right beside his.
"Such a big room, you sure you won't get scared being in here all alone at night?" He asks with a cheeky smile. He wasn't wrong, she usually lived in tiny homes and this would be the biggest place she had ever lived in but she would not be scared.
"Stop, I will be fine" she laughs.
"Well" Apollyon says walking up to her so he was right in front of her. She looked up at his face, her heart starting to beat faster with how close he was to her. He lowered his face so it was a mere inch away from hers, "If you ever do get scared" he says wrapping one arm around her, pulling her close to him. Katya's face turned red as she looked into Apollyon's eyes, "you could always come crawl into my bed" he says smoothly. She could feel his hit breath on her face, her eyes shifted down to his lips for a second before looking back into his eyes. Slowly Apollyon leans in but the bedroom door slamming open interrupts them.
"Why do you guys get the bigger bedrooms?" Aboddon whined as he entered the room. Katya took a step back, her face and chest a deep red as she looks to the floor nervously.
"Damn it Aboddon!" Apollyon says angrily as he pushes Aboddon out, "It's because you are only here for a short time" Katya could hear Apollyon yelling to Aboddon, she quickly closes the door behind her as she stays standing behind her bedroom door, hands pressed firmly against it. Her chest rose and fell quickly as she shook her head trying to get the butterflies that danced around her stomach to calm down.

In the morning Apollyon took Aboddon hunting and it wasn't horrible.
"Oh how I have missed this cousin" Aboddon said as he plunged his knife into the elk carcass and skinning it.
"Me to, keep the head, we can mount it in the cottage" Apollyon said finally letting his guard down. This was the Aboddon he remembered from his childhood, the rambunctious scamp who would accompany him when he went hunting. The two made a good team and it finally looked like they were making their way back there. Apollyon carried the head of the elk on one shoulder and a bag of furs with the other while Aboddon carried the meat. They walked inside the cabin and dropped everything off, the two of them standing in the entryway.
"Real talk, I have truly missed you. You were always like a brother to me" Aboddon said honestly putting his hand on his shoulder.
"And you were the same for me, I hope we can go back to that, I have missed you" Apollyon said bringing Aboddon in for a hug. They hugged for a second while Aboddon grabbed Apollyon's knife. He pushed Apollyon against the wall knife to his throat.
"This has been fun but I want your beloved nymph for myself, she would make an excellent addition to my collect" Aboddon said as his hand went around Apollyon's throat and started squeezing tightly. Apollyon gripped Aboddon's hand trying to remove it from his throat but failed as Aboddon squeezed tighter, cutting off his airflow, a look of betrayal in his eyes.
