My feet have taken me to a place long forgotten in my memory
A place where we shared moments like no other
But as I walked by, I saw you with heartbeats disarrayed;
Time did not have any remedy for the lingering feelings of pain.
It's been years since I last saw you on that fateful yet tragic day
A moment of weakness I've displayed
Yet I was ready to let go of what we've had in the past
Now I bring flowers when I come to your grave.
