Lily’s POV

Date? What date is he talking about? We weren’t going on a date! Since when was this a date..

“YOU!” I yelled, “since when was this a date? I don’t recall ever saying that this was a date!”

He chuckles very loudly. I find him staring at me now with an amusing smile on his face.

“Of course it is. You never said that it wasn’t.” Harry says finding my facial expressions quite hilarious, might I add.

“Well yeah but I thought this was just a friendly hang out session.” I defend.

“Hang out session? What the hell is that?” He answers.

“You know, when friends spend time with each other.” I explain.

“No one does that. It’s as simple as this. Me plus you together equals date.” He says.

I decide to ignore him for the rest of the car ride. I guess he got the message because he started humming a tune. I listened in intently feeling a sense of warmth from his beautiful melodic voice. It sparked a sensation inside of me that my mind couldn’t process around.

“You have a beautiful voice.” I tell him.

“Why thank you.” He remarks at me.

Harry turns the engine off as we arrive at our destination. He pulls up in front of a park. It looked so cheerful. There were little children playing happily with their parents. Kids were being chased by their parents in a game of tag. It looked so wonderful. The look on both the parents’ and children’s faces appeared so blissful. It almost brought tears to my eyes thinking back to when my family was like that.

“What’s wrong?” Harry asks.

“Nothing. It’s just that all these kids look so happy.” I truthfully say.

“Oh. For a second I thought that you didn’t like Harry Style’s choice of date place.” He retorts with that cocky smirk of his.

“No. I like it. It’s really thoughtful of you.” I say back.

Harry and I stroll around the park together. It feels nice hanging out with him. He seemed like a trustworthy friend that would always be by your side. This one-on-one friend session might be the first milestone in our friendship ahead.

“I wanna get to know you better.” Harry says with that British accent of his.

“20 questions it is then!” I tell him.

“Me first! Uh favorite color?” He starts.

“GREEN!” I yell without hesitation, “Favorite movie?”

“Love Actually.” He replies.

I start laughing at what he said. I expected him to say something that wasn’t romance.

“Wow. You’re so manly.” I tease back with a sarcastic grin on my face.

“I am!” He yells back.

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“No.”

“You’re hot.” He says.

“Oh shut up you.” I smile back at him.

“Well, I had to find a way to change the topic. You were insulting my manhood!” He remarks narrowing his eyes down.

“The manhood that you don’t have...” I mumble more to myself knowing he wouldn’t hear it.
