The Shih-tzu cried out in pain as the monster began to kill her with its bites.

She was screaming.

She was crying.

She was... laughing?

Yes.

Daisy continued to laugh
"It's just Hu guys."

The baby tiger finally got off her and purred happily.

Snowball came to pet him.
"What's he doing here?"

"He must have left the apartment to follow us all here," Daisy guessed, smiling at the baby feline. "Didn't you?"

Hu's response was him rolling in the mud.

"That doesn't answer why we're not inside yet." Chloe hissed, she just couldn't stand water.

The rest nodded and looked up at the mansion nervously.

"Let's go."

Before they entered, Chloe hesitated.
"Does it have to be all night?"

"Tell that to the rain." Rooster said in his rather cool personality as he climbed the mansion's front stairs to make it inside.

"Don't be such a scardy cat, Scardy Cat." Said Norman as he followed Rooster.

Chloe growled but made her way inside.

Once they all made it in, they took a moment to look around, being the entrance, it was round and had stairs in the middle which in a fancy were twisted so you'll have to go in circles when walking on them. Straight by the entrance was a room which Daisy guessed was some sort of library since they were tall shelfs upon shelfs on them. To the right was the kitchen, and to the left a big living room.

It honestly looked rather comforting and familiar to Daisy, but when she turned to look at her friends, she could tell they thought otherwise.

She rolled her eyes and scoffed at the sight.

"Do you think someone lives here?" Norman asked.

"Doupt it." Tiberius answered as he flew into the ceiling and landed on it. "I'm surprised we even decided to stay here."

"Let's go to the library," Snowball suggested. "There might be some cool paper to eat."

They all nodded and went on their way.

Daisy gasped as her right front paw landed on a hole in the ground.

Snowball quickly pulled her out of that spot. "Careful."

"Thanks."

"Anytime."

Once they made it into the library, Tiberius flew into a high shelf and picked up a book for himself to eat. They were animals, so pages were rather appetising to them.

"Now remember, we came here only to stay for the night, so make sure you don't mess anything-"

"Oh look!" Norman said as he stared into a cable that dissapeared behind a shelf. "My owner said I should stop chewing on cables, but every hamster has to have their days."

Tiberius turned and gasped at what his friend was about to chew.

"Wait! Don't-"

But it was too late, for Norman already chewed and broke the cable, which was actually a shelf holder and before they knew it, every tall shelf began to fall, and to Daisy's horror, they were heading towards her and her friends.
