"Aciel, take her into the dungeon!" Prince Alexander pushed me towards his guard, whom I may have flirted with sometime ago. Aciel eyed me with eyes filled with confusion, but then grabbed me by my arm roughly, dragging me down into the dungeon.

The dungeon was....depressing. Something about the dim lit halls and dull walls sent shivers down my spine. But mostly, it was the splatters of blood that marked each corner we turned that proved me this place was a horror.

Aciel threw me into one of the cells and locked me up. I rest my head against the dust covered wall as tears rolled down my cheeks. He stared at me, who was looking helpless and regretful. He kneeled beside me, his hands clutching the bars.

"What did you do, Y/N?" He asked sympathetically.

I looked down and shook my head. "Something bad, Aciel." I whispered the obvious.

I may have flirted with him only for my own benefit of completing my job, but that doesn't mean he isn't someone who's not worth spending my time with.

"Aciel, get away from her!" Alexander's voice echoed. "She's up to no good." He said, his voice a strained whisper.

Aciel backed away, looking down at my face with slight confusion. His almost sad gaze retreated as he lowers his head slightly and walked away.

"You....", Alexander breathed out. "I want you out of my kingdom, my life, and mostly out of my people's life." He took a few steps closer. He stood close to the iron bars, almost touching its years worth of rust.

I breathed out as I looked down. I know my mistake and I will accept the punishment I deserve, but isn't Fredrick also to blame? If anyone is should be banished, shouldn't it be him?

"Punish me like I deserve it. Isn't that what you said?" He smirked, his eyes nothing but hatred. "If death is what you deserve, will you still feel the same?" He clutched the rusty metal bars with all his strength.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Aciel fidgeting with something while looking down, but before I can get a glimpse of what he was holding, Alexander's loud voice pierced my ears.

"YOU DISGUSTING BI-" before he could finish his sentence, Aciel pushed him away from my sight and quickly got me out of the cell.

"I'm sorry Your Majesty." He lowered his head down as he spoke to Alexander who's laying on the ground and struggling to get up.

Aciel grabbed me by my wrist and  we ran out of the dungeon.
The next few minutes were blurry and quick. My heart beated fast with adrenaline and I could feel Aciel's was as well. After what feels like an infinite amount of room that we've passed, we made it out of the palace.

"Y/N, it's best if you leave the kingdom," he said when we reached the rear end of the palace.

We were standing side by side, leaning against the beige stones that made up the walls, panting heavily. Knowing we don't have much time until the guards find us, it will only be sensible of me to chose the safe option.

So, hearing the sound of at least a dozen pair of footsteps coming our way, my only instinct is to run. Far. "Let's get out of this damned kingdom." I said.

"And lets never go back." Aciel breathed out.

We ran until we've reached the edge of the kingdom. A place where only ferns and camouflage colored insects lived. A stream flows below our feet and we bent down beside it trying to ease our pained body that has ran far.

I lowered my head down and I could see my blurry reflection on the water's surface. That's who I am right now, a blurry, unstable, irresponsible person. A tear rolled down my cheek and dropped down to the shifting water.

I have lived long enough to realise that my mistake can have consequences to others. I can't let the consequences of my actions ruin Max's life the way our parents have done to us. I can't leave Maximus bare to the palace guards for them to maks him pay for what I did. I'll pay for what I have done as long as Maximus can live in peace.

"I need to go back." I muttered.

"This isn't who I am, Aciel." I said, wiping a stray tear on my cheek.

"Then who are you?" He asked, his eyes hazy from exhaustion.

"A person with someone to take care of." I smiled as I got up, reaching my hand forward for Aciel to take.

"Then let's go back." He smiled back.

Alexander's (Sho) POV

That wretched witch! I shouldn't have let her go in the first place! My blood boils at the thought of her. But Aciel, he's done worse. He betrayed his kingdom, he betrayed me, and puts his loyalty on a criminal. I want them in front of me, kneeling for forgiveness, begging with tears in their eyes.

"They are no where to be found, Your Majesty." The head guard reported.

"So? Search further! There is no way they're out of the kingdom right now, it has not even been an hour!" I yelled.

"Right away, Your Majesty." He turned around to leave. But before he went through the door, I grabbed his wrist.

"And I don't want Fredrick to know about any of this yet, understand?" I whispered. He nodded in response.

Half an hour went by, then an hour, then another, and so on. There is no news upon Y/N and I grew anxious. I couldn't take it anymore, so I put my gear on and headed towards the palace door. Just when I opened the door, a pair of eyes made my heart jolt back. Maybe in anger, maybe in shock, and a little in pity?

"I'm turning myself in." She said and I could tell that there are a dozen of guards aiming their arrows to her head.
