The next day dawned on the camp,
The sunlight flowing through the see-through mesh on the tent.
Yukari's eyes fluttered open, as she got used to the light.
She and the crew of spies hadn't even bothered to change into any form of nightwear, so for all intents and purposes, they are ready to go.
The sudden sound of a tank engine starting woke everyone else up really quick.
They were swamped with potential recruits, so they had to start the practice battles early.
"Mornin!" Trystin said.
"Ugh, five more minutes." Emilia said
*BANG!
A tank fired its main gun.
Instantaneously, they all immediately woke up and snapped up their guns that they had lying with them.
Well, it certainly looks like the day just wants to start now does it?
"You have a call from.....mission control." Yukari's glasses said, near where she was sitting.
She grabbed the glasses as her teammates went through the morning procedures.
"You have a call from.....mission control"
She answered the call
"Hey, hey! You ready to start the day Miss Spirit Animal?" Carm said, overenergetically
"Mm?" She said, sounding all tired.
"Wake up!" Instructors yelled to students in the rows of tents.
"Today's the day to begin training!"
"The top performers will get sports in the roster for the weekend's match against Ōarai!"
That perked kids up immediately.
Teams of four Sherman tanks would have to fight a team of eight Panthers.
Absolutely terrible odds.
The Panther was a far better tank then the Sherman in open field combat.
On top of that, the Sherman's were crewed by rookies while the Panthers were crewed by legitimate members of the team.
