—————————— Chihatan is the Japanese team, which drives tiny little Japanese metal boxes of tanks.
They were mostly designed for infantry support instead of tank on tank engagement,
On top of that, the focus on the Navy, and the poor mechanization of the Imperial Japanese Army in World War II meant some tank that would be considered puny and weak in comparison to contemporary American, German, British, and Soviet designs.
Among them were:
Type 97 Chi-Ha Medium tanks,
The Namesake of Chihatan. Armed with a short 57mm gun, these are no real threat to most other larger tanks, due to poor gun penetration and weak armor that can be penetrated by heavy machine guns. The only good attribute is decent speed due to low weight.
