Carm flew out of bed with haste.

He could hardly sleep that night anyway.

It was time to practice,

by practice, he meant a rigorous drill session.

And by time, he meant 3AM.

The ship should be docking in Hokkaido around the afternoon time.

The battle for his right to stay began tomorrow.

And if it meant turning Ōarai Sensha-dō Team into a military unit by then, so be it.

He walked down the familiar sidewalk of the Ōarai schoolship to the tank sheds.

The sky was still pitch black.

Today, he was going to practice against the three other foreign teams.

He walked into the Sensha-dō tank yard.

All four tanks and crews were waiting,

The boys, treated this like a military training session.

The crews, sprawled out upon their vehicles, snapped awake immediately.

"Commander! Sir!" Karl barked out.

He didn't talk with a hint of tiredness,

Neither did any of the other foreign commanders.

They must've had this moment constant nagging their minds.

The foreign students fought King Cobra before, but being commanded by Corporal Harrison (Ralph) instead, and to quite easy success.

Considering none have faced Carm as commander in mock combat to this point, this fight would be interesting.

After telling the foreign students about the battlefield, and where to go, Carm set for his tank.

Ralph had his head out of the Co-Driver's hatch in the hull.

His seat elevated so that he could get a clear view.

The foreign students seemed to treat Carm with a lot more respect, versus him.

Almost like, they were scared in a way.

And then Carm whirled around, and started walking up to the T29.

Dan didn't need half a second to be told what to do, and he immediately primed the engine and turned it on.

*BrBrBrBrBr- BRUMMM!

The Ford-built engine thundered to life.
