The Ōarai Coalition tank trundled down the road.

"Two Panthers,

Two T-44s,

Three Shermans,

Two Cromwells,

An ISU,

And the grand majority of our reserves." Master Sargent Uteger said from his commanders seat on his tank.

"That poorly eh?" The Colonel said.

"The enemy lost more, but if we keep taking losses at this rate, we'll lose to their numbers." Captain Lancewell said.

Carm was deep in thought, attempting to formulate a new plan.

"Hopefully the theme park would provide better cover, so they can do guerrilla warfare in the smaller areas in the theme park."

"Shops and rides can provide good cover, but the Enemy has way more firepower, if we try to stay in cover, they'll blow it down."

"It will be hard to coordinate a defense, almost none of the foreign tank commanders that aren't American or British speak any English or Japanese.

Carm's mind raced,

Every plan he created seemed to get bogged down by one thing, usually it being the sheer numbers the All-Stars have going for them

What did the enemy have?

"The enemy has way more tanks than us, and they all know how to communicate with each other seamlessly allowing them to fight like one being, with a very well protected chain of command, that has numerous elite forces around that fifth grader."

Carm continued to think, with some small bits of team chatter leaking through the radio.

"Wish we had more tanks, Nikolai's voice said in a lower tone.

We could trample them under our superior numbers, like the Great Patriotic war....." Nikolai said to himself, the words spilling into the radio stream.

Carm peeked up a little bit, scratching his chin.

The Great Patriotic War was the Russian term for the Eastern front of World War II, where the Soviet Union forced the German troops off their soil, by use of heavy propaganda and massive conscription,

The Red Army trampled the Wehrmacht down, so much so because of their superior numbers.

But it wasn't just the numbers,

Order 227 or "Not one step back!" Issued by Stalin, said that no Red Army soldier could retreat without permission.

The Soviet tactics evolved over time, creating a new "Deep Battle" doctrine, of punching through enemy lines with force, spreading out, and encircling large portions of the enemy.

Like Operation Bagration, that completely vaporized the German forces on the Eastern front, and opened the way to Berlin.

"I think it would be beneficial if we went extremely fast, disrupt the enemy communications, and tear them apart with our technological superiority..." Karl said to himself

Carm thought of what happened in World War II.

The Third Reich used its vast fleet of tanks in lightning-fast Blitzkrieg, or "Lightning War" as Western journalists were concerned.

First, they found weaknesses in the enemy line, like the Ardennes Forest during the invasion of Belgium

It was left undefended by French troops, mainly because they thought the terrain was too harsh.

German tanks could navigate the Ardennes, however.

They snuck through the opening and encircled half of the French Army, squishing it under their tracks.

The encirclements spread confusion and slowed the enemy response, with endless refugees getting in the way of the British and French armies trying to reinforce.

Fast, quick encirclements, of enemy forces, that spread chaos and confusion.

"I wish that we could have a large area, snipe those pesky buggers at range." William said.

Carm then thought of the history behind THAT.

The British, in World War II fended off the Jaws of the Wehrmacht behind the English Channel, a stretch of water between German-occupied France and the southern coast of Great Britain.

The Germans attempted to cross the channel, but the British Royal Navy was far stronger than the Kriegsmarine (German Navy),

So, when Germany attempted to gain air-superiority, and bomb the British ships from the air, they sent their undefeated Luftwaffe (German Air Force) to bomb British ships and clear the way for a possible landing force.

The British sent up their fighters to counter, and they fended off the might of the Luftwaffe, postponing the German invasion, and giving Britain time.

After that Germany invaded the Soviet Union.

This Gave Britain the opportunity to open two fronts.

When the Americans arrived, the British and American forces combined banded together to do the largest naval invasion in history.

Known as operation Overlord, or D-Day.

With the Soviets pushing from the east, and the Americans and British from the west, they crushed Germany like a tin can.

Sit from a far distance, and provide support, until the time to strike arises.

An idea popped into Carm's head.

"Nikolai! William! Karl! Excellent ideas!" Carm said.

"What ideas?" William said.

"You said that you wanted to stay at a distance" Carm said.

"Yeah, I'm in a sniper vehicle. I don't want to be flanked." William said.

"Okay, so, think, Germans... they are know for encircling the enemy at lightning fast speed." Carm said.

"Ah! Blitzkrieg!" Karl said

"The Soviets are like an iron wall, they cannot take a step back, that was how they survived Operation Barbarossa!" Carm said.

"I like the way you think Comrade!" Nikolai said.

"The British sat on their island, impervious to an invasion by the Royal Air Force and Navy, then, while Germany was distracted in the east, the combined Anglo-American forces landed on Normandy, and crushed the Nazis in the middle!" Carm said

William nodded his head

"So, what are you saying?" William then said over his radio.

"I'm saying I made the mistake of having everyone work on one battleplan, instead of letting them fight to their strengths!" Carm said.

"Think! World War II, the same people that made these beautiful machines laid the instructions out for you. You just have to know where to look!" Carm said.

"Ah, so what's the plan Commander!" All three boys said at once.

"Leave that to me!" Carm said.
