Ditching school

I wrote this many months beforehand and was debating if I should publish it because it's so short, but hey, who'll complain about a new chapter? I really need new ideas ;-;

Ray POV

After Charmy and Mighty got treated, we left for class, knowing we were late again. "Here I was thinking you two were huge dickheads and now you're my friends," Tails said to Charmy and Mighty.

Mighty looked at him with a smirk on his face. "Who ever said we were friends?" he chuckled. He turned to Cosmo. "And I'm genuinely surprised that a girl could throw that hard."

Cosmo looked confused for a second before remembering the book. "What can I say?" Cosmo said. "I'm a strong girl."

Once Cosmo, Tails, and Charmy went to class, Mighty looked at me. "Wanna skip the rest of the day again?" he asked. I smiled. "You know it," I said.

We grabbed our stuff and snuck out of the school. There were security cameras, but luckily, Mighty knew a place that we could sneak out without getting caught.

Unlike how we usually run off, Mighty approached a car. "Did you steal your mom's car?" I asked. "Nope," he chuckled. "I stole my dad's car!"

"Can you even drive?" I asked. "You're only 17." Mighty shook his head. "Nope, never got my permit, and FYI, most 17-year-olds ARE able to drive, but I can't drive properly. I was never taught."

He got in front of the steering wheel and turned on the engine. I got in the passenger's seat. "Will your dad be okay with you stealing his car?" I asked.

Mighty had a nervous look on his face and chuckled softly. "Nope, he'll probably kill me." As we put the seatbelts on and he pulled away from the driveway, I felt a knot in my stomach out of nervousness.

"Are you sure this is safe?!" I yelled over the unusually loud engine. "Nope," Mighty replied. "But I didn't crash the car this morning!" "That doesn't mean you won't now!" I yelled.

"Now be quiet!" Mighty said. "You're going to get us caught!" "Alright, but why is the engine so loud?" I asked as we were going down the road. Mighty shrugged. "I dunno, I'm going over the speed limit."

"By how much?" I asked in a concerned tone. "I dunno, 10 miles?" Mighty estimated. My eyes widened in fear. I had never been this scared about being around Mighty in my whole life.

Just saying in my AU, Mighty has daddy issues. (Shoto Todoroki has entered the chat lol. Only anime fans will get this joke). Also, sorry it's so short. I had literally no ideas for this. Where should they go?
