The End of the World

Silence surrounded Kinoko Kingdom. It has done for a while. Karl had been busy in his library doing who knows what, Sapnap has been training day and night to ensure he's ready for his next battle. He's seen Foolish and Tina around, but they've mostly kept to themselves and took care of the area. It's peaceful, but it's lonely as well

Stepping out of his mushroom house he was met with the sun in his eyes — despite his sunglasses covering them

"George hey!" a voice called to him "What's up man?"

George looks over "Karl, I've not seen you in a while" he walked over to join him

When George was close enough, he could see the dark marks under Karl's eyes. He clearly hadn't been sleeping well, George doesn't comment on it

They didn't stay talking for long. Karl claimed he had somewhere to be, that being his library which he dragged himself back into. George carried on walking around Kinoko. He spotted Sapnap on the field, he was slashing and jabbing his sword at the makeshift targets. George waited until Sapnap was in a position of tranquility before speaking

"Hey Sap"

Sapnap turned to him "Hey G, you doing okay?"

"Yeah" George sighed "I'm kinda bored though"

Sapnap swung his sword "Try pick up a hobby, collect music discs, build something. The world is your oyster George"

"Doesn't feel like it" he mumbled as he walked away

He heard Sapnap call after him but didn't pay him any mind. He wanted to go home. Where was home anymore?

The nether was as hot as ever, he tired to make his trip quick. The purple portal made him motion sick. George now found himself by the community house, it had changed so much he's forgot what it originally looked like. He has that thought a lot these days. what did things look like before terror struck? Before everything changed? Before innocence turned evil? He wants to go back. Back to when it was just him, Dream, Sapnap and their friends

That's what life felt like at the moment, a dream, not real, fake. He wished it was. He wished he could pinch himself, wake up and everything be okay again

While he was stood inside the community house, Tubbo ran past him, George went to greet him but he didn't earn a glance. He didn't bother calling out, it would be no use.

He walked on

Eret's castle was as bare as ever — no sign of life, no action, even the beacons weren't lit up. It felt like the apocalypse. No normal functioning. George hated it

Without his consciousness knowing, he was stood outside Bad's mansion, he saw someone outside the fence, he looked closer

"Punz?"

"Oh...hey George" he looked startled "What brings you over here"

"Just...walking? What about yourself?"

"I'm just going to the prison, I have a meeting with Dream"

"Dream?" George walked towards Punz "Is he okay? Where is he?"
