warning: smut part two?

I leaned my head against the window as I looked out at the night sky in front of us. Normani was hell bent on driving me home when the night was through, despite us parting ways after sex and damn near avoiding each other in an attempt to not make it too obvious. My girls and Ally were quick to catch on anyway, giving me looks and Stef's mumble of, "I know that's right." I just smiled and put on a brave face to distract from the beautiful woman two doors down who fucked me so good, I wanted to beg for her just to do it again. Even walking through the party, her smile was knowing. And for me, it was a bit harder to hide when the loss of boy shorts made every subtle breeze creep down my spine. In the end, I put my jacket back on and kept it snug around me until we left the house and settled into the car.

Normani slowed to the light, fiddling with the controls on the dashboard. "Cold?"

"A little." I admitted, scratching an itch on my head as I turned to her. Her hair was just slightly tousled in the back. I smiled at the memory only we knew.

"I got you." She twisted a dial towards me before checking for the light again. The car lurched forward again at the sight of green.

Normani cleared her throat, opening her mouth and then closing it again. I grinned, eventually laughing as well.

"Cat got your tongue?"

Her face held a bashful expression. "Yeah."

I shifted to face her a bit more. "Well, that's weird, normally it's me. What's up, what's on your mind?"

She waited a second before shrugging softly. "Well, we don't have to talk about if you don't want to but I just wanted to ask. No regrets, right?"

I blinked in disbelief. "No. No, of course not. Does it - do you think there is? Do you regret it?"

"No!" She checked her mirrors before making a right turn. "I just like to check is all. I know that walking back into the party and not really speaking to each other until it's time to leave can make someone feel uncomfortable or like they're being ignored. I just wanted you to know that that wasn't the case."

I nodded in understanding. "No, it's okay, I didn't think it was. I think after spending god knows how long upstairs, the space probably was the best thing. You know, for suspicion's sake."

She took a moment to mull it over. "Yeah. Or made it worse. Which if so, it's too late now."

I giggled. "Right."

Normani nodded, and the slight tension in the car dissipated right there. I took it as my cue to say something, be vulnerable, I don't know.

"Okay, second question."

"Ask me."

"Is it something you'd be willing to, you know, do again?" The car stopped at the next light at the end of my sentence.

Normani smirked, placing her arm on the compartment between us as she shot me a look. I felt my face heat up as a result.

"What, like now?"
