Authors POV:
It had been a long few years since Jimin's passing, Eunjae was now three years old and each person present had a heartfelt story for that miserable day.

Friday 16th April Eunjae was born at 11:59 and Jimin passed at 12:00 on the 17th April. Jimin didn't even get to hold his baby in his arms.

The same baby he called out for like a mantra hoping that someone would save it.

Yoongi had lost touch with reality for a few months after Jimin's passing.

No one could bring a smile on his face or even get him to do anything.

For the first three months it was Taehyung who took care of baby Eunjae taking care of his every need.

At one point he even felt like Eunjae's papa but he knew that position only belonged to his best friend.

Hence why he insisted that he get pregnant but Hosoek denied and it was only because they were recovering from a trauma.

Taehyung's obsession with getting pregnant was only because he lost his best friend and he wanted something to fill that void.

Since Eunjae wasn't actually his baby he needed his own.

Even though it was Taehyung who studied psychology Hoseok understood what Taehyung tried to hide.

I mean do you blame him?

Every single one of the people present that day has a trauma of their own they're recovering from.

They didn't just become happy, the emptiness always stays in your heart but you have to overlook it.

You have to overlook it because there are people who need you.

Just like Eunjae needed them all.

He needed his Apa the most though.

So when Yoongi eventually came round to hold his baby again after that night Eunjae had never looked so peaceful.

He ate well that night, he had a bath without a fuss and he even slept properly in his Apa's embrace.

Yoongi too looked very peaceful that day. Having Eunjae in his arms was the best gift Jimin could have left him.

Yoongi would always think about Jimin and whenever he saw his little baby he would be reminded of his Papa - yoongi's mate.

One of yoongi's biggest regrets was not finding out sooner that Jimin was his mate. He never got to mark the omega as his and he wasn't able to do so many things he always wanted to do.

He cursed IU for what she did and now she's serving a prison sentence but if it were up to the six boys and their parents IU would be getting the death penalty in a country that allowed it.

Alas, deep down they knew Jimin wouldn't want that plus they knew that they were too kind to do that anyways.

Yoongi spent most of his time telling baby Eunjae about his papa so naturally when he was older he would always know of Jimin.

He didn't want them all to suppress Jimin's memories he wanted them to embrace them.

Jimin was a big piece of all of their lives and he needed to make sure his memory lived.

During the dreadful few months when Yoongi wasn't able to do much everyone decided to move in to the Yoonmin mansion.

It was big enough for them all and once Yoongi did recover he asked them all to permanently move in because he still wanted that support from his friends and family.
