History of Origins and Hybrids

"Freak! Why the hell would I want a son like you?! Your not even human!"

"Pappa I'm sorry!"

"Your son has been blessed by the Enderian folk, you should be proud to have a child as powerful as he will become!"

"Momma? MOMMA HELP! DON'T LEAVE ME!"

"Hes too weak to develop a full Enderian shift, but if he does, god forbid he does because those things will kill you."

"Hello police? Yes, I've just seen a young child walk down my road... no, no parents. But... I think they're a hybrid."

"Where are your parents young man?"

"I only agreed to foster you for the money, you half blooded creature!"

"He... they? What?"

"Pathetic."

"Hey, I'm Tubbo wh- wow! What are you?"

"Tubbo, Tommy I'm sorry. But you cant remember this. I'll erase it from your minds forever."

"Oh yes we'll employ you! Do you have a hybrid shift? You do? Oh... sorry but this position is no longer available. Good day"

"How old are you anyway? Your so tall!"

"Don't you ever... lose control?"

"Hybrids are dangerous, they should be kept in cages or exiled, not accepted into society!"

"Hero hybrids are the exception."

"Worthless."

"He'll kill you in your sleep, hybrids aren't human."

"Blessed? More like cursed."

Regardless of the laws to protect hybrids and origins, we face the most discrimination. 

People see us as freaks, monsters, dangerous, uncontrollable, things, and creatures.

We can get attacked just for who we are.

We may have mixed blood, we may only be half human, but we're still people and we're still capable of emotion.

Most hybrids either have two hybrid parents or one full blooded origin and one human. A human and a hybrid cannot hope to breed another hybrid- they will either have fully human offspring or no offspring at all.

All hybrids are capable of having their parental origins shift, but we have to be taught how to access it.

Our origins shift is into our natural skin, the skin we feel most comfortable in, yet we cannot use it.

There was once a time where origins and hybrids were forbidden from teaching others how to access this shift. Any who spoke out about it were punished and never seen again.

Origins are not capable of fully hiding their physical features, for hybrids it is much easier. Origins can cast an illusion over their features, hiding most of them from the public, however some major features are unchangeable. Most hybrids can completely hide their origin features, small things such as height and smaller features often cannot be hidden, but they are a lot harder to spot.

Origins and hybrids were the beginning of all enhancements, and yet we are the ones who face the most hate.

Phil is an Elytrian hybrid. He chooses to keep his wings out, but hide his claws.

Quackity is an Aqua Avain origin. He is unable of hiding his wings, but hides his webbed feet and hands, hides his beak, hides his small tail, and hides the small feathers over some areas of his body.

Scot is a Starling hybrid. He has dyed his hair to hide the galaxy colours, he has also hidden his arms which fade into a galaxy pigmentation below the elbow, only showing it when he uses his enhancement.

Fundy is a Fox hybrid. He chooses to hide nothing, and he faces backlash for that.

Techno is a Piglin hybrid. He may not hide anything, but he always wears capes, flowly clothing and his signature white pig mask when in public to hide most of his features.

Sapnap is a Blazeborn origin. He has naturally more tanned skin and amber flame eyes, but he hides his tattoo like flame markings unless he uses his enhancement, 

Bad is a Demon origin. He hides nothing, and is very lucky that due to his family friendly nature stops most of the backlash.

Ant is a Feline hybrid. He doesn't hide anything, but isn't too well known as a hero.

Foolish is a Totem origin. He also doesn't hide anything, but Totem origins have often been regarded as gods due to their healing powers, so he is one of the few lucky ones.

And of course I am an Enderian hybrid. Humans have always hated Enderians- they are the rarest origin yet the most powerful. Same can be said for Enderian hybrids. People know so little about my species, yet they fear me.

Thats why I hide my Enderian shift from the world.

Thats why I hide my Enderian nature from the world.

Thats why I mask my very biology and very self for the world.

Because I've had to learn the hard way what revealing and embracing it means.

And if people fear me whilst I am EnderNight? So be it. 

At least it's a chance for me to be myself.
