Niki pov~

Quackitys memories and past were... dark to say the least. I still didn't truely know what to make of it.

The dark smoke whipped past my face, flinging my hair all over the place. I was struggling to stand in this black sand desert, the wind was still way too strong. Every few seconds a wisp of smoke passed by and paused, allowing me to see the memories encased inside.

This was Quackitys mind?

These were his memories?

Every single person had their own limbo, and what it was highly depended on who the person was. Anyone with a mental enhancement could access someone's limbo, if they had the correct training. For example Wilbur's limbo was a train station, and Phil's was a mountain range. But Quackitys... His was a black sand desert in the middle of a storm.

There was almost no light, and no exit could be seen. Just being in here for a few minutes was terrifying.

Wait there was no exit.

How was I suppose to get out?!

In some limbos there was an exit, like for Wilbur's you either walked up the stairs or you got on a train, and in others you would have to die or come close to death before you could get out, like for Phil's you literally had to jump of a mountain. But I couldn't see an exit, and I couldn't see any easy way to die.

"HELLO!" I screamed into the storm, the noise getting swallowed up immediately.

This was bad.

I started running, stumbling as I went, trying to find anyway to get out of this hellish limbo.

The storm was disorienting me, the dark smoke constantly obscuring my vision, and I fell. I let out a sharp cry as I came crashing down, rolling down a sand dune and that's when I saw them.

Some sort of... Monster.

Many of them.

They moved like one, their bodies seemingly made up of dark smoke, with skulls for the bottom jaw and bone spikes all along their back, their claws were stained red and silver and they resembled wolves. But not like any wolves I'd ever seen.

I slowly moved my arm in order to get up and they snapped their head over to me, all at the same time.

Shit.

These weren't suppose to be here.

They were Decori.

Hellish creatures that only appear in the darkest of limbos.

And if they killed you, or even harmed you in anyway, that wound would transfer to your body in the normal world.

I very rarely ran into these creatures, and if I did I stayed the fuck away from them and made a very quick exit.

But from what I and seen I couldn't here.

The way limbos worked with my enhancement was that I could read someone's memories through physical contact, and that automatically transported me to their limbo. Whenever I lost physical contact with the person, I would be notified through various ways in their limbo and would try and get out as quickly as possible, it was dangerous for me to stay in someone's limbo without physical contact. Other mental enhancements had different rules for limbos but one definite rule was to never gain the attention of a Decori.

Which I had just managed to do, and i wasn't even a single one, no it was a whole pack of possibly a dozen or so.

The form a Dercoi took depended on the person, but they were always a shadowy beast like appearance of an animal. The more a person had, the worse their limbos were, and in turn the worse their past, memories and mental condition was.

The Decori all moved as one, slinking low to the floor and creeping towards me. I was frozen, but I knew if I didn't move, I'd be killed.

And of course to add to this just then a massive lightning bolt struck the earth a few feet away from me and thunder spilt my head in two from the noise.

I no longer had physical contact with Quackity. This would mean that my physical body in the normal world would now be useless until I got out of his limbo, I would probably seem unconscious to the untrained eye.

All at once the Decori came running, snarling and jaws snapping as they raced towards me. I jumped onto my feet and sprinted as fast as I could on this treacherous sand.

My breathing picked and and fear, real fear, was quickly forming inside my stomach,

"HELP! ANYONE! PLEASE!" I screamed, my voice breaking at the end as I choked on a sob.

They were gaining on me and I had no idea how to get out of this limbo.

I had been stuck in limbos before, but I had never been locked away with this many bloodthirsty Decori.

There had always been a way out.

There has too be a way out.

But this time it seemed that there wasn't.
