i walked out of the coffee shop feeling good after my short interview i had just done with the manager of the place. i immediately took my phone out once i was out of there and called my mom, "i got the job mom!" i say.

i was sitting on my bed when i got a call from an unknown number. i answered it unlike usual, worried that it might be work which was good since it was.

"hello this is kim nabi right?" my manager asked.

"this is her." i respond.

"perfect. i just wanted to talk to you about your training. i have someone that can train you this weekend, are you good with that?" my manager, mister park asked.

"that's perfect, thank you sir." i respectfully say before we both say goodbye.

i walked into the coffee shop named 'coffee & sugar' and was greeted with a girl that seemed to be around my age.

"hey, you're nabi, right?" she asked.

"yeah." i respond with a smile.

"nice to meet you i'm suhwa!" the girl cheerfully said. "i'm gonna be training you today!" she said before she walked over and happily grabbed my hand before bringing me to the back.

after we finished training, suhwa and i sat on a bench nearby the coffee shop. throughout the training we actually talked a bit and she truly is very nice.

"do you wanna be friends? i mean, you're the only other girl that is gonna be working at this shop and honestly it gets kind of lonely being the only girl so i thought we'd get along." suhwa suggested.

i giggled at her ranting, "of course we can be friends." i said with a smile.

"so, can i talk to you informally from now on?" she asked.

"sure." i said and she smiled before looking away and out at the people walking by. "what school do you go to?" i ask, wondering if we had went to the same school and i had just never seen her before considering my school was pretty big and crowded.

when she told me her school i realized that wasn't the case and that we just went to different schools. i shared my school and she gasped, "minho goes there!" she says.

"minho?" i say, confused.

"oh, he works with us. maybe you know one another?" suhwa says with a smile.

"maybe? i don't know, i haven't really heard of a minho but we'll see." i say.

i was walking through the hall on the way to lunch when i saw him walking through the hall, my hallway crush. he was definitely the most attractive guy in school but we don't have any classes together, except for like, lunch but he's always sitting with his friends so i couldn't really talk to him. i mean, not like i was going to anyways.

i was a few minutes away from the coffee shop when someone ran up to me saying 'hey'. i looked over and was met with suhwa. we had exchanged numbers after the day we first met and have been talking a lot.

"first day~ are you nervous?" suhwa asked.

"very." i respond and suhwa laughs.

"it'll be fine! im here for you and so are all the others! just let us know if you need help making anything or working the cashier or anything at all." suhwa told me.

"you're the best~" i say as we walk into the shop. i didn't know any of the people working behind the counter.

suhwa grabs my hand and walks behind the counter, "guys this is nabi!" she says, introducing me to our coworkers.

"hello." i say, pretty quietly due to my nervousness. everyone greeted me happily though making me feel a bit better.

"come with me to the back room. we got to get our aprons on." suhwa says and i follow her into the back room.

"your locker is right there and the apron should be in there." suhwa says as she already starts to put her apron on.

"oh okay. thank you." i say and she nods before walking out of the room to get to work.

i sigh before i walk over to my locker and open it grabbing my apron out. i shoved my bag into the locker before i shut it and held the apron up in front of me, my back facing the door as i tried to figure this thing out.

why was it so complicated?

as i was struggling to put this apron on i was too distracted to notice someone walk into the room. that was until they spoke.

"you need help?" a voice said behind me and i turned around to see... him. i was lowkey in shock so i didn't realize i wasn't speaking. "take a picture it'll last longer." he then said, making me return back to reality.

"that's the most cliché thing you could say." i blurt out, not thinking.

"do you need help or not?" minho then asked.

"yes." i respond.

minho smirks, "what's the magic word?" he says.

i stare at him for a moment, "please." i say and he nods.

"we'll turn around then." he says before taking the apron out of my hands. i turn around and he brings the apron in front of me. he then puts it on me slowly, his hands slithering under my hair as he ties the apron around my neck before his hands grab the lower string and ties the bottom part of the apron, his fingers grazing over my clothed back as he does so.

"i'm done." he said and i turned around to look at him but not fully looking at him due to the fact that i knew i was for sure blushing.

"thank you." i say before i how quickly and walk out of the room to get to work.
