Severus POV

The next day arrived, and all of us, including Potter, who spent the night on the couch, decided to head to Diagon Alley to get some items for Hogwarts.

I told Potter I already got the kid's wands, and he nodded. I could tell he didn't like that, but I chose not to say anything else.

"Father, it says here we need uniforms, our own pets, and books for the school year," Katheren spoke.

"I can see that. How about this, we'll go to Magical Menagerie and then to Madam Malkin's Robes?"

The kids nodded and ran ahead to find their other halves.

"C-Careful!" I shouted while Potter chuckled.

'Honestly, with this man right here...'

The children waited for us when Potter and I finally approached Magical Menagerie.

'It may look old, but it still works,' I thought as we entered.

"Why don't you go and find your pets? We'll wait right here," Potter said, and Harry grabbed Katheren's hand before walking away.

'He must be that excited...'

"How are you feeling?" Potter asked, looking at me.

"I feel fine, Potter. Just a bit tired from so much walking..." I answered.

"Well, the therapist did mention that exercise is an important balance to the body," Potter joked, and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Sure, it does, Potter..."

"Dad! Papa! We found our pets!" We heard Harry shouting.

We turned to see Harry holding a snowy white owl while Katheren had a barney one.

I admit I was a bit surprised to see them as choices, but then again, I don't know everything about my children.

Potter paid for them before I could, and we soon left.

"I'll take them and wait outside while you two head inside with your father," Potter said once we approached Madam Malkin's Robes.

They nodded and handed Potter their owls before thanking him.

He smiled, and I felt my face hot.

The children and I went inside and saw Madam Malkin there.

"Hello, we would like to make a custom uniform for Hogwarts, please," I said.

"How many?" She politely asked.

"Two, and-"

"Father, can I wear pants instead of a skirt? I really don't want to wear one..."

"Of course, you can," I replied.

Madam Malkin called for her assistant, and I let my children go with them while I grabbed some fabric.

If only I knew what my son and daughter talked about...

Harry POV

"Alright then, kiddo. Let's see those measurements..." Madam Malkins said before starting to use her magic to measure me.

I followed her instructions, and it was relatively easy since I didn't fuse as much as many kids would.

After a few minutes, Madam Malkins quickly left to see something.

"Going to Hogwarts, aren't you?" I heard an unfamiliar voice, a young boy nonetheless.

I turned to see a blond kid with good skin, grey eyes, and somewhat taller than me.
