Severus POV
I stared at Katheren with wide eyes when she said that to James.
I'm not beyond shocked that she used those words, but I could see the hatred look on her face. That same look I had when I hated James and his Marauders friends.
'Something tells me she isn't going to let this go,' I thought, tightly hugging Harry.
"W-What?" Potter asked, staring at Katheren with his hand covering his mouth.
"You're our deadbeat Dad, correct? Oh, wait, I forgot. We're children with a bastard as our other parent," She replied while staring coldly at Potter.
"Katheren!" I exclaimed, now shocked that she would use a cuss word.
"What? Didn't you used to say that to him?" She said while pointing at Potter.
"Wait, you and Snivellus-" Black spoke, but Katheren kicked his leg again.
"Hey! Why, you-"
"Don't call my Father Snivellus, you filthy scumbag," Katheren threatened with her eyes glowing with darkness.
Potter and Black gulped while Remus looked at us before at her again.
"I'm not going to lie; she is undoubtedly your daughter, Snape," Remus mumbled.
"At least you're one of a kind, wolf boy," She replied, now staring at Remus.
Potter's and Black's mouths gaped while Remus's eyes widened.
"H-How-"
"Don't worry about that, Lupin. After all, it's not your fault you unintentionally tried to murder my Father in your fifth year," She shrugged.
"Murder?" Harry asked.
'Damn it; I should've covered his ears,' I thought.
"It means to hurt someone really deficient and make them not live anymore," Katheren explained. Harry got quiet before he looked at Remus.
"Were you going to hurt Papa, Mister?" Harry quietly asked.
Before Remus could answer, Katheren chimed in.
"No, he wasn't, Harry. Someone wanted to get him hurt by hurting Father."
"Oh..." Harry said; a calm smile grew.
"Were you and Papa friends?"
"Um-"
"Hey, look at the time! We should be going. Bye!" I shouted, grabbing Katheren's hand quickly before literally running away.
"Hey!" Potter exclaims, but we got too far away for him to reach us.
Once we weren't in their vision, I apparated us to our house before locking all the doors with a powerful spell.
"Harry, why don't you go to your room? Your sister and I need to talk about something," I politely asked.
Harry nodded and went to his room.
Once his door shut, I looked at my daughter, who seemed somewhat regretful.
"Why did you say that?" I asked.
"He was bound to find out eventually, Father," She replied.
"I know that, but I didn't expect it so soon."
"I don't care, Father. I know no one deserves pain, but I want him to feel it after abandoning us!" She shouted.
"Don't shout, okay?"
