So... we all know the legend, right?
A long time ago, when the war happened, a young teenager fought alongside Arceus, in hopes of stopping this deadly war against Hoopa, the Mischief Pokémon.
Who was in its unbound form.
For ages, that legend has been told and shared by many Rorians. Which made them tremble in fear, until now.
They were afraid and still are of its power of destroying everything.

Destroying everything.
Those two words are the ones that made us weak, that made us cowards, that made us hide forever.
...
What if I told you... That there exists a solution?
What if I told you that, People and Pokémon can change?
...
After the boy's death, two crystal stones appeared in both Roria and Kalos. It is said that shared power could take down many corrupted souls.
But to take control of this power, the trainer and the pokémon must be in perfect communication.
They must have a strong friendship to be able to control this.
Meanwhile, Arceus had already created the Brick Bronze to seize Hoopa's portal away. It also created the bottle, to take its destructive, corruptive powers away.
The ancient citizens were happy about this and lived in a better world from there.
Aredia was one of the few homes that were destroyed in this catastrophe.

Time passed, and a lot of years
And now... even after the defeat of Hoopa, the people are still afraid.
Afraid that this beast will come back to destroy their homes. Afraid that this beast will cause the end of the world. Afraid that no one will be able to save them this time.
...
But, not everyone stood in fear.
Others believed that they would be able to create a new world with this power in their hands, so they tried, and tried, but failed.
Until some archeologists found the key and the bottle.
And now, here we are, to the present. Once again, in fear that we'll die of this.
But, remember...
No matter what. Not even what they do.
People and Pokémon can change, and some won't by choice.
