The legend. The history of our region we've grown to love and adore for so long. Each region holds its own story to it, and Roria is no exception.
The children of Roria usually sing along to the chilling tune of the lullaby, designed for the king, whom is forever lost in history, and for a long-lost knight alongside his allies.
A long time ago, a war occurred in this region thanks to the king's greed for power and rule over the world, releasing an Evil Djinn, which caused mass destruction and/or mayhem to the entire region.
The once strong trading center for all regions had been torn apart from his selfishness/greed.
Roria slowly began crumbling Roria slowly began to crumble in the arms of the living, many found injured, dead even. It was a strength that no mere Pokémon could win against.
This Pokémon was more known as... The Mischief Pokémon, Hoopa.
Not to be confused by its small body, the evil Djinn was in its unbound form, ten times larger than any other Pokémon there was at the time.
This resulted in the war being given the name "Kunō Deianira". In its translated form, "War of the Anguished Destruction".
It wasn't long before a young teenager, alongside two others of his age, decided to fight against this Djinn. The first of them sacrificing himself for the peace and restoration of the lands.
For ages, this legend has been told and shared by the children of Roria, making them all tremble in fear... until now.
Even a significant mention of the name "Hoopa" can make them tremble in fear.

...
Fear.
A simple yet meaningful word amongst this region. Its former glory is forever gone in the memory of war and destruction, of anguish and fear. Of death and sorrow.
Many remember this legend by the simple mention of the Pokémon God, Arceus, who had come together to seal the Evil Djinn's powers by using a Prison Bottle, forever lost in the desert's eternal sandstorms by the surskills of the old Aredia City.
...
However... What if I told you... That there exists another solution? Free of blood, free of deaths, and free of misery...
What if I told you... That people and Pokémon can change altogether?
...
Lost in time alongside the Prison Bottle, pieces of the once huge bronze crystal were scattered all across Roria. One of them being smaller than the rest yet of equal/stronger power.
Not only that, four relics were lost in the haze of the war, representing the heroes of the world. No one knows where they may have been scattered across; only time will tell when an archeologist discovers them.
...
"However, fret not, dear one... For a legend says that once Roria begins to fear... No matter the circumstances..."
"A warrior will come. To protect us from the corrupted clutches of each and every single evil that dares to hurt us."
"Because... We are the children of Roria. And we shall never fall again to the misery that we felt hundreds of years ago."
"We shall come out stronger than ever. We shall learn from our mistakes. And most importantly? We shall learn to grow, to love... And to convive."
Because... People and Pokémon can change, some won't by choice. And it's up to us to help them learn how to grow, to love, and to convive.
