My mind is filled with a static sound.
The second I keep reminding myself the sword that I once held,
All I can hear from the back of my mind is someone.

Someone... screaming for me to stop. To forget.
Desperate cries of someone I feel like I knew before.

But I can't. There's nothing anymore.
The field is empty, filled with the lives of those who died for us.

Is this really what justice is?
The sheer cold from those who died in our hands?

What did I do wrong... To let them down like this?

A few days after the discovery I've made of having a sword, Amelie and I were once again just outside of my house, trying to stand on my hands because according to Amelie, it was a trick that could come in handy.

"A- Amelie...! I don't think I can–"
"Nonsense, [Y/N]! I know you can do it! Just keep at it for 20 minutes!"

My eyes widened in surprise, my arms trembling furiously as she was slowly letting go of my legs in order to maintain balance. "20 WHOLE MINUTES?!?" I shouted, almost falling off as I used most of my strength to keep at it.

"Yeah! Seriously, why are you so worried about it? It's not that hard!"
"Not when you're the one watching– AH!"

With one loud thud, I fell onto the ground, my hands on my head as I whined slightly in pain. "Okay, this is not working. Tess! Please bring [Y/N] some Ice Packs!" Amelie spoke, looking back at her who was sitting on a chair watching the situation.
