Reese has been busy all day with paperworks. It's pass 5pm but she is still in her office. Her staff s already went home and she's the only one left there. While signing some papers, Risa received a message.
"Hi Sen. Bahay kana?" It was from Leon.
"Hello, VP. Wala pa 😊 Still here sa office."
"Oh. Shouldn't you be home na?"
"Oo, OT lang 🙃"
"Sige, pwede ba ako pumunta?"
"Bakit? Umuwi kana lang at magpahinga VP."
"Wala rin akong gagawin. Natapos na. Yung mga bata umalis, wala akong kasama😕"
"Hala si baby."
"Baby? Ako?"
"Oo, cute mo dyan sa sad girl moment mo."
Leon smiled. She shouldn't be. They're just friends. Pa-fall lang si Reese.
"Akala ko dahil maliit ako. Haha. So ano? Pwede po ba, Sen?"
"Po? You are older than me excuse me."
"Dami mong sinasabi. Kung nandyan ako, hinalikan ko na yang labi mo para manahimik ka."
"Tara, gawin mo. Halika dito."
"Otw."
And she really did. On her way to Reese's office, she thought of bringing something. She dropped by at the nearest coffee shop. "She needs this to get her work done. And.. for energy as well."
Leon called Reese. It took her 2 calls to answer.
"Ang tagal sumagot."
"Sorry, nagchange ako ng comfy clothes. Left my phone sa table."
"Arte. Joke. Here na ako. Pasundo😘"
"Okay, Madam. 😊"
As usual, they greeted each other with a peck on the lips. No one is around so they can do it. Leon fears that when they are with people, she might forget and kiss her that way.
"Gusto mo lang ako halikan eh."
"Isa na yun."
"Miss mo ko? Nung isang araw lang nasa OVP ako."
"Ako lang nakamiss? Ang sakit mo naman."
"Hoy! Namiss din kita. Syempre, ikaw lang best friend ko."
That's it. Whenever she's saying that Leni's heart broke. She doesn't have to say it. She knows it. But hearing it from her makes it hurt more.
"Tara na? Ito oh, coffee for my bestie."
"Thanks, bestie." She kissed her cheek and ran.
"Hay Reese. Paanong hindi ma-iinlove sa'yo?" Leon told herself.

Leon settled on the couch while Reese is working on her table. She just watched her do her thing, sipping coffee.
"Patugtog ako?" Leon asked. Reese just nodded.
