Senator Reese and VP Leon were both invited to speak for a forum. Also present is Sen. Francis. They will be the keynote speaker. Sen. Risa arrived earlier than VP Leni. She seated beside Sen. Francis and chatted. Sen. Francis greeted him. It's been awhile since they last saw each other.
"Kumusta fubu experience?" Reese coughed and slapped Francis' arm.
"Sige, ilakas mo pa para marinig ng nasa likod mo."
"Ay sorry." He looked at the back and checked. He moved closer to her and whispered.
"So, kumusta nga?"
"Masaya. Masarap." Francis laughed. He kinda expected that answer.
"Ang tagal na ah. Malay ka bang itigil yan?"
"Wala. Ayaw din ni Leon itigil. Sino ako para umayaw."
"May point." He nodded and agreed.
"Sasabihin mo ba sa kanya?" Francis suddenly became curious.
"Need ba? Hindi ko naman siya girlfriend. Okay lang siguro yun."
"Kaibigan mo siya. So dapat sabihin mo."
"Tsaka na. Masaya naman kami."
"Eh baka ma-fall yun sayo. Mahirap na."
"Si Leon?! Daig pa non bato sa sobrang walang feelings. Baka ako pa mahulog."
"Edi mahulog ka."
"Haha. Hindi, hindi dapat."
"Single naman kayo ah."
"Basta. Okay na ko sa ganito. Sex lang."
"Speaking of... nandyan na best friend mo."
Reese quickly looked at Leon. As usual, nakadress at heels. She was mesmerized by her presence.
"Ganda talaga." Reese whispered.
"Ayan, na-fall si bakla."
"Ay? Bawal i-compliment?" Francis just smirked.
Reese was the next one to speak. Leon has the loudest clap of them all. It was like "that's my girlfriend" vibe. Reese smiled at her and Leon did the same.
Her speech was well delivered. Everyone cheered after her talk. The one will be the vice president. Reese went down the stage while Leon was going up. They exchanged smooches on their cheeks. Leon was about to give her a kiss on the lips when she realized that they are in public. Francis noticed it. Reese immediately turned her head on the side.
"Oh muntik pa sa lips ang mga bakla." Francis whispered while clapping for the vice president.
Leon's speech will always leave you in awe. Her words are remarkable. She excellently delivered the message she wanted to convey. Everyone stood up and gave her a round of applause.
After the speeches, the people around them greeted Francis and Leon. The vice president looked for the senator. Francis noticed it and pointed where Reese is.
"Ayun yung bestie mo."
"Thanks. Sino yun? Kilala mo?"
"Yung lalaki? Oo. Mayor yan sa Ilocos."
"Ah. Bakit parang ang close nila?"
"Suitor ni Reese. Pero ayaw sagutin."
"Oh. May suitor pala siya.."
